Our team and guest love having him perform in any of our Rudy's locations!
Response from Britt Ballenger Band:
Thank you so much! Thanks to Christy and Tim Louton for having us play at their Rudy’s locations! We love the family friendly atmosphere, great food, customer service, and friendly staff! Rudy’s honors our military veterans & first responders at each location and gives back to the community daily with benefits & fundraisers for charitable organizations! Can’t say enough good things about Rudy’s Country Store and BBQ! Top notch from top to bottom! Thank you!
We get so many compliments from our guests. He is entertaining for all ages and we want him to come back as much as he wants to.
Britt performed for our event in Leon Springs and was professional, courteous and played some great music for our event. Loved it!
A wonder group full of fun, great music and hospitality! Britt did an amazing job communicating, and keeping the music going! Highly recommend and will be using again!
Britt and the guys played a private event for my husband's 50th birthday party. I hadn't had the opportunity to hear them in person previously, so I made my initial decision based on videos and on-line postings. They were professional, engaging and, above all, sounded fantastic. They compiled a spot-on list of songs from our communications about the feel for the party, our preferences and their knowledge and experience. Whether you've ever walked the streets of Bakersfield, blamed anything on Mexico, prefer fishin' in the dark or are just a lonely lineman for the county, you'll love what they do and how they do it. Responsive and timely from start to finish, hiring The Britt Ballenger Band was hands-down the best party-planning decision I made. Triple-B fan all the way!
We hired Britt to play at our wedding and he was absolutely amazing! Not only was he easy to work with, friendly and accommodating, but he put on a great show. We had numerous people come up to us and tell us how he’s one of the best they’ve seen! Thank you Britt and your crew for making our wedding unforgettable!

Born in Longview and raised in Nacogdoches county, this Texas talent was influenced by country music at an early age. His parents carried him to concerts, rodeos, fairs, and festivals where good country music could be heard. Whether listening to his Grandmother's old 45's or the 8-tracks in his Aunt's car, it was Haggard, Jones, Buck, and Conway.
Britt Ballenger grew up listening to the sounds of Bob Wills, George Strait, and Merle Haggard, but he had no idea music would become such a great part of his life. While attending Stephen F. Austin State University, Britt began to show interest in performing. In 1998, his parents bought him a brand new Gibson electric guitar and amp. Soon after, he began guitar lessons and singing on the Texas Opry circuit. Some of the venues he played during those early years were the Crawfish Festival in Spring, Houston's KILT Radio Stage at the Strawberry Festival in Pasadena, and the Johnny High Country Music Revue in Arlington. After a six month stint in Nashville, where he worked at the legendary Ernest Tubb Record Shop, Britt returned home to finish college and play music.
In late 2000 helped form the Lufkin, TX based country band ETC...East Texas Country...as lead singer/rhythm guitarist. The year 2000 also saw the release of first album "Permanent Wave Goodbye" on Trend Records. Summer of 2001 formed his own country band...Britt Ballenger & Second Wind. 2003- recorded second album "Why Don't You Love Me?" on Landmark. Fall 2003 toured with comedian Willie P. Richardson throughout the southeastern United States. Early 2004 joined the western swing group The Tailor Made Band as lead singer. Recorded the album "Texas Swings Again" with TMB in 2005. Summer of 2006 made the move from East Texas to San Antonio. 2007 co-formed the River City Ramblers. 2015– formed his band Country Connection, which is now the Britt Ballenger Band.
Born and raised in East Texas, he now enjoys performing around the San Antonio area.
Britt has spent countless hours behind his guitar developing his own unique singing style and sound. Britt Ballenger is ready to show the country music world what he has to offer. Britt has the potential and talent to take him to the top of the country music scene. Just a moments listen will confirm you might be listening to the next country music phenomenon to come out of South Texas and the Hill Country!
His musical accomplishments include opening shows for the likes of Ray Price, The Texas Playboys, Gene Watson, Hank Thompson, Collin Raye, Steve Wariner, John Michael Montgomery, Gary P. Nunn, Parker McCollum, Roger Creager, and Aaron Watson.
Britt hopes to one day perform on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry, as well as historic Texas venues like Gruene Hall and Billy Bob’s. His new album “Losers and Lovers” is now available on ThunderJack Records.
