I hired Brodie to sing for our wedding ceremony in the mountains, and he absolutely nailed it! He sang "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran as a prelude, then Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat's "Lucky" (alongside his talented fiancee Nirete) and "She Is Love" by Parachute for the processional. Brodie has a vocal tone and versatility that would make Orpheus weep with joy.
I also asked Brodie to provide A/V for 4 events over the course of our wedding weekend, and not only was he completely reliable (and affordable!), but he also unexpectedly stepped up to DJ the biggest and most bumpin' wedding dance party that I've ever been a part of.
Brodie's cool, calming, and loving demeanor is always a nice presence to be around - beware that during stressful wedding times you may just find yourself drawn to hang out more with him than your family ;)

Paonia wanted a headline band for their Autumn Harvest Festival and Brodie rounded up The Killer Bees. His seven piece band filled the night and brought down the house. Great guitar, wonderful voice and amazing entertainer. You can check out snippets from the Harvest Festival show and others on Youtube. I'm a fan. He's headlined shows at Denver's Walnut Room, Mercury Cafe, Behind the Ogden, Larimer Lounge, The Toad, Swallow Hill and the Broomfield Auditorium as a solo artist, with others in song writer's circles, in a duet, trio and full band. I've never seen him do a wedding and he's not a bar guy, but I've seen him at festivals, municipal and corporate events, house concerts and wineries. Need music? Get Brodie.

Brodie Kinder is a honest troubadour and multi-genre singer/songwriter. His original music and covers aim to connect and invigorate the human spirit and unite a room full of strangers. As a well-traveled artist, Brodie brings an international flavor to the table with roots in Hawaii, Canada, Europe, and East Asia, East Coast USA and now Colorado. Up with People, a musical peace corps of sorts, runs deep in his blood and has given him a heart for service. He has opened for nationally touring acts such as Ayla Nereo and Gabrielle Louise.
My sound is very scaleable.
I can bring my own PA system for crowds up to 100.
Beyond that I'll need a stereo plug in and a possible monitor feed.
Depending on area, time of day and needs I could use one lighting tree or none.
