I have been singing and playing guitar/keyboard for over a decade in a number of settings. My original music is soul with a slight country vibe, but I can cover any genre that is right for your occasion. I'm also willing to learn your favorite tracks with advance notice!
Whether you are looking for an acoustic solo or duo performance or a full band, I can provide a quote that fits in your budget. Most often I gig with a lead guitar player and myself on rhythm guitar and vocals. We have played shows ranging from major Austin live music venues to daytime parties in backyards. Recently we even played a pool party that was featured on the television show Pool Kings! Let's make some music!
Brody and his band played for our backyard micro wedding on 12/12/20. Originally, we had been against the idea of hiring a band for so few people, but their music and energy was exactly what we needed! Their wide range of covers ensures that there is something for everyone, but I was thrilled with their Texas country selection. This is the second time that we hired Brody Hammonds and each time we were blown away. They are so easy-going and professional, which are majors pluses in a wedding band! We will definitely be using Brody and his band again for future events!

My wife and I hosted our rehearsal dinner at an Austin Brewery and booked Brody to provide music during the event. He was professional during the entire booking process, had a reasonable booking fee, and provided all set up and equipment necessary. During the event, he played some great music that not only I enjoyed, but many of the guests said how great they though the music and atmosphere was during the event. I think a large part of the success and the atmosphere created during the event was due to the music Brody provided. He is a great musician and I would highly recommend booking him for a gig and we will definitely keep him at the top of our list for the next event.

Brody and Chris played at a graduation party for our daughters and we could not be happier with their performance. Brody was thorough and professional from the scheduling process to the end of the event. He started by asking me many questions in order to understand what we would like from him. He and Chris arrived early and ready to set up where we would like them. They started playing outside but the weather took a turn for the worse and they came inside and played acoustically for our party. We received many compliments on their performance. We liked them so much we are going to have them come back out and play for us when we have a smaller group and we can sit and enjoy their music. We cannot recommend them more highly and we look forward to using them again in the future.

I've seen Brody perform twice in Austin TX and each time I was very impressed by his original soul/blues acoustic music. He's definitely an artist to watch. I've seen him perform at both intimate gatherings as well as large events. He plays a mixture of original songs and soulful covers. Brody is a great choice for whatever you may have in mind and I highly recommend him for your next event.
