Brooksley was absolutely wonderful! In my bridal suite I could hear her playing and it was beautiful and made me so excited to go out into my ceremony. Our guests had nothing but amazing things to say and even trying to think of events they could have to have her play at! She did an amazing job and my husband & I are so happy with how everything turned out.

Brooksley played at my surprise wedding proposal, and let me tell you, she was incredible. Not only she's an excellent violinist, but she was also able to play I almost of 11 songs I chose, most of which are not mainstream. She worked to find the music sheets for the songs she didn't know and went above and beyond by creating her own sheets for the songs she couldn't find on internet.... Off the gate when I contacted her I asked if she would be willing to play bad bunny songs since that is what my fiancé loves and Brooksley did not hesitate to learn any request to make our proposal magical. We had the very last minute idea of getting some surprise entertainment for our informal 75th birthday for my mom, and I wasn't really certain I would get any takers but Brooksley came through! Brooksley was very communicative and very helpful, giving me set lists which helped narrow down the song choices. On the day of the event, her car broke down and she had to do Uber, and still made it with more than enough time. She was very likeable and it was easy talking to her while we was setting up for the intimate mini-concert, and it felt like we were indeed long-time friends! She even did 1 BTS song for my 7 year old, who gave Brooksley a 5/5! My mom was very happy :)

Brooksley played a small surprise outdoor concert for my Dad's 80th Birthday. In this time of quarantine I was looking for a way to provide my dad with a surprise without leaving his home and it worked out better than I could have imagined. I can't be happier with the performance and the service I got from Brooksley in my surprise marriage proposal to my girlfriend! Since the beginning, she was very proactive, sending me an extensive catalog of songs she has, from classical music to pop hits! I needed "Yellow" by Coldplay, and of course, it is in her repertory.
I really wanted to surprise my now fiancee, so I send a detailed plan to Brooskley, and she simply got on board with it like it's an event of hers, she also wanted it to be perfect! I told her that my fiancee is Disney's princess fan, and she proposed a bunch of songs from the movies. In honor of my sister who recently passed away ,I wanted to have music played at her funeral. I originally was set only on a guitarist. However, God as a way of sending people into our lives when we least expect it. Brooksley sent me a message saying that she was a violinist, gave me her condolences and offered her services . Brooksley is the REAL DEAL. Her performance speaks for herself and on top of everything else, she is really nice and caring to work with. This is the second time within a year that I have invited Brooksley to perform at our Nursing home. We have both Geriatric and Pediatric patients. She had violin music for all to enjoy, including the staff. The kids got up to dance, and the Geriatrics were clapping and happy. Everyone asked after her performance when she was going to be coming back again. She is not only a talented musician, but she is friendly as well. Brooksley traveled from her hometown in Arlington, Virginia to our wedding location in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I was not certain about Brooksley's international availability, but she assured me that the travel would not be a problem. Brooksley provided a comprehensive list of songs she could play at our reception. These songs included genres from: Disney, R&B, Love, TV/Movie Themes and even songs from our favourite video games that we used to play when we were younger. We provided Brooksley with a playlist and she was very accomodating. At the venue, my wife and I were impressed on how kind and professional Brooksley was. She played everything on our playlist. All guests were impressed with her performance. One guest thought that we were playing a recording in the background, instead of having a live violinist. Brooksley also offered to play the song that I would dance to with my mother. My mother was moved on how extra emotional, Brooksley's music made our special moment. She started by playing solo classical selections while guests arrived; played several special requests for our processional and ceremony; then played upbeat contemporary selections at our reception. This helped me find the type of music that I wanted for the engagement party. I was also able to pick my favorite songs and had her play them on the violin. On the night of the event, I met Brooksley in person for the first time, and it felt like I had known her for years. I wasn't sure about hiring Brooksley at first since she listed her location as Arlington and my wedding was in Warrenton, Virginia. So, I figured it would've cost an arm and leg just to get her to my wedding, but I was wrong. Brooksley was very friendly and was willing to work with my budget.

She got to my wedding early to set up with her speaker system. And she even spoke with my wedding coordinator to ensure that everything went smoothly without any miscommunication.

Brooksley was as gorgeous as the music she played for my wedding. She requested a listed of songs that I would like. Based on my selection of songs she was able to provide additional wedding songs to fill in the gap. She suggested appropriate songs for different portions of the wedding as I was having a difficult time deciding.

Finally, Brooksley is a skilled violinist who can play any music piece that you throw at her. She was able to play "Snow Flower" by Mika Nakashima! It was a pleasure to have her at my wedding!

OMG!!!! She was so amazing. She worked with us and provided great consultation. She arrived on time and played beautifully. One of the best!!!

We had a great time, my daughter enjoyed listening to her favorites (including the Bohemian Rhapsody...believe it or not) been interpreted in a violin. Brooksley had great communication skills and assisted me in the planning of our set list. She arrived early and was set when we had arrived!

She played the violin beautifully!!! She did have a hardware issue with her amplifier (This is the only reason I gave her a 4/5) and quickly modified her talent to roll with the punches. In addition, she discounted our original amount quoted because of the hardware failure.

I recently worked with Brooksley on a wedding in San Diego. I've found it very difficult to find live musicians who treat a wedding with the level of importance that it should be. Brooksley did not disappoint! She provided music for the ceremony, the most important part of the wedding. She worked closely with the couple and myself (the planner) to provide the music selection that took their ceremony experience to the next level. She even learned new songs and new arrangements of songs just days before the wedding to make sure that she provided the couple with music that was significant to them. This is so rare with live musicians in the wedding industry. She truly understood the importance of playing for someone on the most important day of their lives. Unfortunately it started raining on their outdoor ceremony just before the processional. Brooksley quickly moved to cover, dried off her instruments, and continued to play to keep the anxious guests at ease, while we figured out how to move the ceremony inside the hotel. Her professionalism and personalization are beyond average, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for something extra special for their wedding or event!
