Bubbledad Bubble Shows

My highlight videos give you a great sense of what my three main performances are like:

Indoor/Stage
Outdoor
Virtual/Zoom

They all have a similar D.I.Y. narrative but each performance type is slightly different and offers something that the others can't (ie I can't make a billion bubbles to run around and pop inside and I can do mind-blowing bubble tricks inside that would just blow away outside!).

In 2013 Bubbledad made his first giant bubble. Now he can't stop! Bubbledad (performer/educator Chris Catanese) has brought smiles to tens of thousands of kids (and adults!) from Manhattan to Mumbai with his bubble wizardry. He creates a magical bubblescape featuring mesmerizing bubbles of all shapes and sizes. As a former educator, Bubbledad infuses each show with a little fun science. Chris encourages kids to adopt a D.I.Y. attitude through his builder/maker character. Bubbledad shows kids how to make many of the bubble blowers he uses in the show.

Chris holds a master's degree in informal learning from Bank Street College. Prior to his bubbling career he spent 23 years working at several New York City non-profit organizations including the New-York Historical Society (Director of Visitor Experience), the Museum of American Finance (Director of Education) and WNYC Radio where he was a producer and performer on the weekly New York Kids. In 2018, Chris was part of a group at the BubbleDaze World Bubble Conference in Caernarfon, Wales who were awarded a Guinness World Record for largest number of people making giant bubbles at the same time :-)

Outside I require a personal space 15' in diameter and the over performance space should be approx 40'x40' at a minimum. I can't perform on playgrounds with equipment due to safety reasons. Appropriate ages for outdoor shows: 2-102

Inside I require a minimum of 6'x8' (ideally 9'x12') plus the audience area. I cover my performance space with mats. Appropriate ages for indoor shows: 4-104 (I can do toddlers inside but it's more of a workshop with parents/caregivers/teachers getting very involved)

For virtual show my Zoom account can host up to 100 streams. I can also join the client's presentation.
