I booked C the Sound for 3days this past weekend at the Country Stampede music festival. We have a second stage that needed sound production. Just saying Charlie was AMAZING is an understatement. We provided the stage and he did the rest. Knowing that I could focus my attention elsewhere was a huge relieve.
Charlie not only handled the sound, but advanced each of the 15 artist to ensure he had the proper hookups and any equipment they needed. He truly is a one stop shop!
Every patron that listened ranted and raved about the quality of music provided.
We will use Charlie for many more shows! Thank you Charlie.
Charley was easy to book, easy to work with, fulfilled all equipment needs, great sound check, was punctual on time. Straight A rating!
Response from C The Sound:
Thanks, Matthias! It was a pleasure meeting and working with you.
I cannot recommend Charlie and C the Sound enough, He was great to work with, showed up in bitter cold and was the bright spot in the event. Thank you, Charlie,

Professional audio and lighting engineering services with a smile.
After three years of volunteer service at a Kansas City area church, Charlie Carter started the business “C The Sound”. In 1997, he was offered the head sound engineer position at the Unity Church of Overland Park. He still holds that position to this day, also acting as consultant and installer for the church.
Charlie finished in the top 10% of his class at the Recording Workshop, an audio education facility in Chillicothe, Ohio. Other tracks of education include: Syn Aud Con, Infocomm, and Biamp Systems. With multiple audio and video engineering certifications under his belt, his interest in serving the community has brought
C The Sound to its current position. C The Sounds serves many prestigious clients, to date: 5 city festivals and other city events along with many other individual clients. Please inquire for more info.
As a sub-contractor, corporate events include: Helzberg Diamonds, Farmland, and the Sam’s Club conventions. He has worked at locations such as Bartle Hall and the New Theatre Restaurant. He spent several years as lead stagehand at Johnson County Community College. Working on countless performances of Broadway style shows at JCCC has given him knowledge and experience that cannot be taught in any classroom. By working as an a/v systems installer, camera operator, event audio engineer, video editor, video projection operations, lighting design and studio recording/editing engineer, Charlie has earned his place in the A/V industry. And he has supported the creation of many CD’s for clients, engineered hundreds of weddings, and coordinates a team of volunteers at his church.
C The Sound currently offers up to 32 channels of wireless audio via a sound system that supports up to 5000 attendees.
Wireless lighting control of LED washes, and effect lighting with motion and strobing and fog/haze machines for a professional look.
Our systems have been customized and engineered to be modular to fit the needs of the event. So even the smaller events get pro support.
