Caleb’s music was the perfect finishing touch for the party we planned for family, the wedding party and out-of-town guests ( about 75 people). We wanted the evening to be relaxing, but fun and festive! Caleb helped create that vibe with ease! We received compliments from guests throughout the evening, and for days after, about his talent and how much they enjoyed the music. He was always timely with his communication, was self-sufficient with set-up and great at gauging the event and sending what types of music people were enjoying and wanted to hear. He worked well with the caterer and bartender working the party, which made my role as the host SO MUCH EASIER! I highly recommend Caleb….he is so talented, kind, fun and a great addition to any event! We are planning a Christmas party and plan to engage Caleb again if he is available.

Caleb Joye is a perfect fit for private events! His sound is well-balanced and engaging giving everyone enough space to talk and enjoy their evening without running them away early. He plays directly to the crowd and looks for the perfect type of music that everyone enjoys. Caleb also has the unique ability to incorporate DJ music as well if the party needs to blast off toward the end of the night.
About
Caleb was born in Fl but grew up in the music business in Nashville, TN. He learned the basics of audio engineering and music production from top producers. However, he discovered his true passion for music as a live performer and songwriter after seeing how the day-to-day life in major recording studios was lacking in the ability to make meaningful personal connections with co-workers and the ability to establish job certainty due to the overwhelming oversaturation of new people coming from LA back in 2009. The music industry completely changed after Youtube was released in 2009 and major studios were no longer needed. That meant the chances of making a living as a Nashville music producer were just as good anywhere now.
He returned to St Augustine, Fl in 2010 with that new vision as a music producer and live performer. Ironically, Caleb was taught live sound and performance techniques by St Augustine natives. Over the last few years, he has established a pristine sound that you can actually have a conversation over in a venue and takes pride in playing "a little bit of something for everyone" in ALL genres of music. He has a unique ability to read the crowd and play directly to their heartstrings with a rich acoustic soul sound, that some say, is actually better than the original songs he's performing!
Caleb is now well known in northeast Fl and has solidified his full-time residency at classy local venues such as; San Sebastian Winery, Casa Monica Hotel, Salt Life Food Shack, and Harry's Seafood Bar and Grill. (to name a few) The management in each venue greatly values his work ethic, reliability on short notice, and dynamic approach to playing a well-balanced sound so that people can enjoy their drinks/food, and conversate without having to leave early.
If you're looking for new music, he also produces music for jingles, film, and TV full-time. He has had placement (licensed songs) on popular shows like "Keeping Up With The Kardashians", and "House". Caleb plans to continue music production, scoring films, and songwriting for new up-and-coming artists.
