Traveling to perform a major plus - only a 2-hour drive from BC.
Caleb played the Violin at our intimate wedding ceremony. He played all of the pieces exceptionally and helped us curate the pieces. Very happy!
Response from Caleb Tizon:
Thank you Yodit, it was my pleasure! :)
Caleb was great! Very great at communicating and very responsive. He was easy to talk to and played beautifully at our ceremony. I would highly recommend him to anyone!
Amazing service with Caleb. He did a phenomenal job at our wedding. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great violinist. ☆☆☆☆☆
Caleb was great. He was on time, very polite and our seniors loved his music and variety he played. Definably will have him back.
Caleb is simply one of the finest musicians that I have ever had the pleasure to work with.
He was my principal violinist for many musicals between 2010-2018
Caleb played the violin for me on my wedding day as I walked down the aisle. What an absolute treat it was to have him there. His professionalism, skill, and friendliness is unmatched. I 1000% recommend hiring Caleb for your next event!
Caleb has a sense of the room around him when he plays. He is an excellent musician, and when people listen to him play, an energy enters the room that keeps people engaged with the space. I have worked with him on several occasions, and I have never been disappointed.
I needed a violinist to perform on short notice for a work event. Caleb was great to work with, able to pick up the music quickly and perform with little preparation. Really pleased with the performance. Thank you!
Caleb performs regularly at our assisted living community. He is amazing! His talent is incredible and his professionalism is of a very high standard. We all love Caleb. I highly recommend him for any event.

Education:
Certificate in Music Industry Essentials (New York University, 2021)
MA in Education with Music Education (Antioch University Seattle, 2020)
BA in Liberal Studies (Antioch University Seattle, 2017)
Caleb Tizon, MA.Ed has been playing violin since the age of eleven. He began formal violin training with Ye Tao from 2004 to 2006. He later continued with Sarah Chung from 2008 to 2010 and Dr. Meredith Arksey in 2015. He also received vocal lessons from David Paul Mesler in 2013.
Caleb regularly freelances around the Seattle area as a soloist, orchestra member (including pit orchestras), and chamber musician. He has soloed with the Encanto Orchestra, the Issaquah Philharmonic Orchestra, the Rainbow City Orchestra, and the EWHS Chamber and Symphony Orchestras. He served as Concertmaster for the Rainbow City Orchestra from 2011 to 2015, beginning when he was nineteen years old. Caleb played with the Encanto Orchestra from 2018 to 2019 and currently leads two chamber groups - the B-Minor String Quartet and the Nocturne Chamber Ensemble.
Caleb began teaching violin in 2014. He has taught with companies such as 4/4 School of Music, Illumination Learning Studio, TakeLessons, and Music & Arts (where he led a string workshop in 2018). For his Master's thesis, he conducted a research study on improving minority representation in classical music education, which was published via Medium. He also serves as a Case Manager for the Youth Re-Engagement Program at Everett Community College.
I require the bare minimum for live performing. I prefer having a standing microphone for larger venues, and occasionally will need speakers and a sound tech for performances requiring a backtrack.
