Meet the band:
CASEY "KC" KING – Vocals & Guitar
Founding member and primary composer, KC KIng has been writing and performing music for 15 years plus. With a rich and diverse history in rock'n'roll, he brought CFE together. Though talented on the drums, KC ultimately found his passion in playing the guitar. His creations of dynamic and rhythmic riffs on both acoustic and electric is very evident of that passion.
ZACH "ARIAHS" BRAIDWOOD – Bass & Backing Volcals - Originally hailed from Napa Valley, California. Now a naturalized Texan, having spent the better half of Zach's life here, he enjoyed learning many different aspects of the music industry. Starting out by playing DJ for some Dallas local bars, working my way into live sound design and road crew work for a few Bands. During this time I learned to play the guitar with the help of some amazing (link hidden) is CFE's Bassist and one of the backing vocalist. Starting as the lead guitarist over ten years ago, circumstance and necessity led him to pick up the Bass and it quickly became his favorite instrument. He extensive experience playing the bass and guitar, he is able to identify with any particular "style" of playing. He is able to look at each song they write with new eyes, playing what the song calls for rather than sticking to a formula. "That being said, I sure do love me some RHCP & DMB!" Says Zach.
Meeting KC was what set the wheels in motion and got the band started, KC had an unparalleled drive and passion for playing, always pushing himself to learn something new, never even thinking "I can't". What began with an Anemic little cover set, playing some of the songs they loved with just the two of them on guitars, was well received. The response grew beyond what the two had expected and drove us toward more original work, leading to our first band, The Last Call. Over the last Decade the two have worked together on countless projects and iterations of their band. Always being open to new ideas has allowed us to evolve what we do tremendously along the way. I continue to play because the journey that started out as simple as it did has led them here, and he can't wait to see where it will lead them in the days and years to come. He loves music, it is its own language and speaks more than just the words within the songs.
MEREDITH "CHUCK" MALLORY – Trombone & Saxophone - Chuck started playing trombone back in middle school in 2000, picked up the guitar around 2006, picked up the saxophone in 2013. While Chuck was gifted a guitarist at the age of 19, he conquered the electric and learning a swath of metal and rock songs, and buying an acoustic. Moving into older genres of music, specifically the funk rock and soul of the 70's and 80's, The combination of brass and woodwind in symphony, and their application in rock and roll is very appealing to Chuck. This application has long since been my primary focus in playing (link hidden) he started writing with wind instruments and began listening to older styles of music, the expression of thought through music has become clear for him. After playing dozens of successful shows with CFE by mid 2016, I could tell I was in the right place. The only way to go is up!
CHRIS "TOPHER" WOJAN – Drums & Backing Vocals
Topher, originally from Richardson, TX, is the drummer of Calling for Eden and also a backing vocalist. He's been in love with music for most of his life and began playing drums at the age of 11. "I've played guitar, bass, and piano but I always came back to the drums...As much hard work as it can be, it's well worth the reward" states Topher. His dynamic drumming style enhances the dynamic big band full sound of Calling for Eden.

CHRIS "DUCKY" Matthews - Trombone
Chris Matthews "ducky" started playing music early in middle school, in which he began to trumpet and moved over to the French horn. After high school he experimented with several other instruments like guitar, bass, and mandolin. Playing the trombone is his way getting back to his horn playing roots.
