Canyon Critters LLC

I recently had Canyon Critters come to my son’s birthday party for a reptile show. Nico was great with the kids - he had a great balance of being funny/engaging while educating the kids about each reptile and his rescue efforts. I would highly recommend and happily book again.

Even with very young party attendees, Nick and his stars were amazingly patient and informative. Definitely was a great addition to the day and I'm happy to support rescue efforts. And everyone was respectful of potential fear and never intimidated.

I've had so many patients telling that the reptiles were great, administrator stated "the reptile guy was awesome!"

This is the second time we have used Canyon Critters for entertainment at our public concert series. This is a crowd magnet for adults and children. The staff of Canyon Critters was on time, patient with the crowds of people, and required little in terms of set-up from the host. We hope to have them back for a future show.

We had a wonderful time getting to know Nico's reptiles! The kids enjoyed learning about the animals and how extensive their care is. Nico helped them feel comfortable and the kids enjoyed loving on these beautiful animals. Nico is clearly passionate about this work and his animals clearly recieve the best care possible. We are so thankful he came to our event and enjoyed it thoroughly.

Nico was wonderful! Everyone had a great time and learned a lot about the animals too. He did an awesome job preparing the kids beforehand and managing them throughout the show. This was by far our best birthday yet!

Our kids (4-9years old) loved the animals Nico brought with him. The snakes were very friendly and he did an amazing job explaining(age appropriate) the living environments and what they eat. We will definitely be having him come back again!

Nico came over for my son’s 8th bday and we had a blast! Kids and adults were enthralled with the animals and Nico was so informative. He was great with the kids and set clear rules with the animals that everyone could follow. 10/10 recommend!

Kids had so much fun petting and holding and learning about the animals. It brought a lot of excitement to the party.

Nico and his team knocked it out of the park at our event! They showed up on time, was prepared, and pleasantly interacted with the attendees. They took the time to educate attendees about reptiles and the unfortunate amount of abandoned pets. We hired him for a large public event in our community's park. We had great attendance and several positive comments. We are hoping to bring Canyon Critters back next year.

What a fun event. I wasn’t sure if the kids would like it, but wow, they loved it. Adults too. We learned a lot, and had much interaction with the reptiles. The expert was very good with the kids, and had all very involved.

My daughter wanted a reptile party for her tenth birthday and Canyon Critters sure did deliver!

Nico brought his reptiles to my son's 30th birthday as a "blast from his past" type celebration. We did have a few children present, but mostly adults. Nico interacts very well with both groups and does a wonderful job sharing his reptiles with the group. All who were present loved it! I definitely recommend Canyon Critters and Niko!

We got Canyon Critters for my son Luis' party and he had so much fun. He did not want to hold any reptiles like he thought he would but Nico was great with giving him the first chance. He gave lots of information about each reptile and had such a great sense of humor. Highly recommend and was by far our best party.

The person who came spoke in a low tone and such a low voice I never caught his name. No information was really shared about the animals 3 snakes , a tortoise a Madagascar cockroach, bearded lizard. No real presentation of the animals when the children/adults walked into veiw them. We had a party and the animals were supposed to have been an "attraction" possibly be better set up as an educational presentation. The guy was very unfriendly at best, maybe a bit "reptilian" in his own right.

Canyon Critters was definitely the highlight of my son's birthday party. And not just for the kids, but the adults too! Nico was incredibly informative and had a fun, playful demeanor with the kids.

My six year old son and his friends (ages ranging up to 11) loved Nico, who is not just a snake whisperer but also, secretly, a child whisperer; and they were blown away by the critters (so were the adults). We will never forget this birthday party. Thanks to Nico, for the party, and for all the work he does for those animals.

Such a unique experience! My son and his friends absolutely loved the reptiles and Nico was great! He made sure each child had an opportunity to touch or hold each snake or lizard etc. and pictures could be taken. Thank you!!

Nico was not very patient with the children. Made jokes about my child which caused tears in front of his friends. Great with animals but not kids.

Nico and his animals provided the entertainment for our daughter's 5th birthday in Fort Collins. He arrived a little early and was very professional. He brought a wide assortment of "critter" including at least four snakes of different sizes, a tortoise, a tarantula, and a lizards. He was very knowledgeable and did a great job engaging children of different confidence levels. His animals were excellent with the children, and the adults were as pleased as the children were. I encourage you to hire Canyon Critters for your event and your payment helps fund his animal rescue.

I hace had a total of 4 reptiles parties for my son...of course he wants another one this year. 2 of them were not Canyon Critters with Nico... I won't do that again! Nico is great and it is all hands on with reptiles in your lap. Better like reptiles or lock your self out of the house for the party. LOL. He's great.

I couldn't be happier with Nico and his wonderful reptile friends. I hired him for a 90 minute reptile show for Halloween. He showed up on time and had lots of animals. He was great with the kids and adults alike. He was very knowledgeable about the animals but never made it feel like a classroom show. Everyone got lots of time with the animals and all of the reptiles were in perfect health. I can't wait to have another reptile show with him.
