Cape Fear Circus Arts's performance is fully customized to fit your event, you may even pick our songs! Costumes are customized to match your event theme or colors. Solo, doubles, and group acts available for aerial arts, acrobatics, fire and hooping. Our strength, flexibility and power will keep your guests talking.
Cape Fear Circus Arts is an aerial dance based company, specializing in silks, hammock, lyra, and trapeze. The company was founded in 2011 by principle member Jamie Poletti. We grew from there to two principle members and many supporting members. Each of our members are influenced and trained in various forms of dance / circus arts.
Our performances are built to fit your needs. We offer solo, duo, and group acts in aerial arts, acrobatics, and hoop dance. We offer a variety of acts from ambient background performance to the main event entertainment. Cape Fear Circus Arts will be a memorable part of your event, whether we are flying above your heads, bending and balancing in unbelievable ways, or lighting up the night with fire. Your guests will be talking about your event for months to come!
Listed below are the different acts and requirements for each apparatus.
Aerial Hammock - rigging point of 12' or higher*
Aerial Lyra - rigging point of 12' or higher*
Aerial Silks - rigging point of 16' or higher*
Trapeze - rigging point of 15' or higher*
Pole Arts - 6'x6' space with a ceiling of at least 10' or higher for portable pole with stage
Hoop Dance - 6'x6' of open space
Fire Performance - 10'x10' of open space with proper ventilation and no carpet
Partner Acrobatics - 6'x6' of floor space
**Rigging point can be a structurally sound points that have a minimum of a working weight of 500lbs. If a rigging point is not available, we can bring our portable aerial rig which can be set up from 12' to 25', needing appropriate ceiling heights.
