My name is Melissa "Gigi" from Caricature Hut. I am a caricature artist, face painter, silhouette artist and more.
I have been a caricaturist for almost 20 years, a member of ISCA (caricature association) and am a published cartoonist. My husband Dan is also a caricaturist.
I use professional cosmetic grade face paints that are FDA approved.

Fantastic artist with a warm personality. She took the time to learn about each guests background so the art matched them. She was on time, professional, kind and warm. I hired Gigi and Dan for my husbands 50th birthday party for Caricature drawings. We had over 100 guests. Gigi and Dan were amazing!!! I could of picked someone closer to home for a cheaper price but I picked Gigi and Dan because they had great reviews and great sample pics. All the great reviews were accurate. My guests loved Gigi and Dan!!! They were very professional, organized, fun personalities, quick at there work, and the pics looked perfect!!! They have two different art styles and that was nice for my guests to pick what style they wanted. An unexpected bonus, they took pics of every guest with their drawings and sent copies to me. They stayed past there scheduled time to make sure none of my guests were left out. I highly recommend Gigi and Dan for your next event. It was money well spent!!!
Our wedding guests have not stopped talking about how amazing the caricature artists were at our wedding. They loved being able to take them home and the whole experience during the cocktail hour and reception. Guests said the artists were so fun!

Fun, cute caricatures! I offer a variety of entertainment and can work as an individual performer or as a duo with two caricaturists or a caricaturist/face paint combo.
Caricatures: I have been a caricature artist for 14 years, am a member of ISCA (International Association of Caricature Artists), am a published cartoonist, artist, illustrator and designer.
Facepainting & Bodypainting: I am an experienced face painter and paint at festivals, events, fashion shows, venues, parties.
Costumed Character: I am available to work as a costumed character for your event, and am able to combine a costumed character with caricatures or facepainting. Available characters: Princess Beauty Bell, Fairy, Super Hero, Pirate, Caribbean Pirate, X-Woman, jedi, Power Rangerette, Monster Highschool, Retro, Pinup, Anime, Greek/Roman, Hawaiian and more. Performance artist/painter: I am a performance painter painting live before audiences, the most recent was two sunset paintings in one evening on the beach for a corporate event in which I provided the originals as well as matted prints of the paintings each of to the dinner guests (each painting 30-45 minutes). I also perform carnival style two handed finger portrait paintings as "Artista De Los Muertos" which each abstract portrait is about 6 minutes.
I have modeling and promotional experience, as well as bartending/hospitality and have worked for clients such as Captain Morgan, Caress, Pantene, MOSI, Busch Gardens, Ritz Carlton, Movico, MidAmerica Festivals, Hard Rock Casino and more. My paintings can be seen in local restaurants and my creations have been featured in Tampa Fashion shows and photography events.
I am friendly, professional, reliable, get along with persons on all levels and reside in the St. Petersburg/Tampa area.
