When I show up at your event I promptly set up my easel, drawing board (and lights if needed). You can expect to see me in all black with a colorful tie unless your event has a theme you would like me to dress in concert with. I will be at my easel ready for guests 15 min prior to the start of the event. Once the first person sits down you can expect me to draw like the wind for the duration of your event. 15 min prior to the close of the event i'll let the last person in line know that they are the final drawing of the night so no guest is left waiting and then not receiving a caricature.

Three words that guests will use to describe your event when you hire me for an event. You will be amazed the the paper I'm drawing on doesn't catch on fire from how fast I draw. Having a live artist is fun for the guests getting drawn and the guests waiting to be drawn because watching a caricature come to life before your eyes in three to five minutes is exciting and fun!

Each drawing is 100% unique, each person at the party gets a custom hand drawn piece of art that represents them. Its not a gift bag with the same thing everyone else gets and got at the last party they went to. Even if you hired a caricature artist at your last party, this time it will be a brand new experience. No two caricatures are the same but each one is lasting memory.

Hang it over your bar, put it in the bathroom, the man cave or even the mantle over the fireplace, a caricature is a lasting memory of the event you are hosting. Many people I draw tell me of their collection of caricatures hanging in the hallway at home, so have you guests start their collection at your event and it will be a night they never forget.

As the person planning your event the fewer things you have to worry about the better and I offer worry free entertainment. Once you book Doug Citizen( thats me) you're all done, no worries, no stress. I will show up a half an hour early and be ready to draw fifteen minutes before the guests are due to arrive. I've learned over the last sixteen years of drawing caricatures professionally that with out the booking agent( thats you ) I'm just a guy with a pencil, it doesn't matter how good I can draw if I don't have people to draw. I have so much fun drawing people and that fun is contagious.

My name is Doug Citizen, I grew up in Las Vegas. I've lived here over thirty years and am proud to call Las Vegas Nevada my home. For sixteen years i've been drawing retail caricatures on the Las Vegas strip at hotels like The Excalibur, MGM, New York New York, and the Venetian. For the last eleven years I have owned and operated my own caricature stand at the Miracle Mile Shops in the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino.

The bare minimum I require is two chairs and an outlet for power if lights are required. I can bring chairs if needed but I have found there are usually a couple chairs available at the events I have worked in the past.
