Caricatures, The Sam Way!

Sam was awesome! On time. Polite. And great pictures!

Sam was FABULOUS and FAST and was a HIT for our patient appreciation event! He was kind and engaging and I cannot recommend Sam enough! He even helped get our business logo on the drawings for patients to take home.

Sam was very communicative and was on time. He was a favorite with our guest. He did a good job at getting the drawings done quickly and also gave out good quality work. I would definitely use him again in the future.

We had Sam arrive 30 minutes after our party started in attempt to maximize the number of guest that would use his services. Sam did not even attempt to find us as hosts, he just set up his tip jar and sat down. He didn't ask if we planned to tip him at the end of the night or if we wanted our guests to tip him. We paid him $125/hour for his services. Having a caricaturist was our gift to our guests, asking them for a tip takes that away. This would be forgivable if he was good at what he did. I saw most of the work he did and was not impressed. It seemed like he could draw a total of 5 people and just choose which matched the person in front of him best. If it weren't for the names he wrote on the top I wouldn't have recognized any of the caricatures of our guests.

This is our second time hiring Sam for an event and we had really positive feedback from guests both times.

Sam was phenomenal, he showed up, got set up and then worked his butt off all night! His pictures were easily one of the biggest hits for entertainment and made the perfect party favor for our guests! I felt bad that he worked so hard and didn’t get to hang out with us more. It was a crazy night but I was able to at a minimum snag him a piece of wedding cake before he signed off. Book him for your event and then take good care of him because he is definitely worth it. Sam came early and set up. He worked for the whole time and did a great job. It was really hot out and he kept an upbeat attitude with all the guests. He was easy to get a hold of before and made the whole experience really easy.

The only thing that I can say maybe bothered me a bit was that had to take time to slip in work for his boss when he could have taken more guesses in that time.
