We hired Alex to do a drawing and include all the highlights from our party. My husband turned 50 and we had a birthday party for him at a restaurant in Glendale. Alex did an amazing job. He draw on a large paper all the important moments of the party, my husband with the cake, our dance, our toast with our guest, all the guests dancing ... the drawing looks beautiful, I will frame it ! This was my gift for my husband.

Alex did caricatures for us last night at Foster Avenue Apartments in Baldwin park, for our summer community party. He was a hit ! Everybody loved him and his art. We organize 3 parties a year: one for mother's day, the summer party and the Christmas party. This was the first time working with Alex and we will use his services again for sure for the next ones. We found out about Alex, from a friend who hired him for his wedding. I am so glad we did.

What to Expect
They can expect someone who is professional and knows how to do his job. I will be there in time for the event always, I will make the people attending the part happy by drawing their faces without exaggerating their faces too much because some people don't like that. Or I can exaggerate the drawing if that's what they want. People are always happy with the caricature just because they look like them, my drawings are more like fine art portraits.
About
Alex Sandulescu’s drawings depict beauty in the unexpected. His work focuses on the juxtaposition of industry versus nature, where the light meets the darkness, and textures contrast smooth gradations. Each caricature drawing resembles the person Alex is drawing but it is also funny and a little caricaturized.
Alex received a Master Degree of Interior Design at the University of Architecture and Urbanism in Romania and is currently an exhibiting artist living in Los Angeles, CA.
Additional Booking Notes
I always need 3 chairs and a little table for setup.
If the event is in daytime I don't need light. I do need light if the event is outdoors and at night, just because i need light to see my clients and also draw.
