Carlos & Carlitta are back to help with holiday season festivities. We provide balloon-twisting, clown magic and face-painting to enhance birthday parties, festivals and celebrations.
Carlos & Carlitta are both primo balloon artists, creating over fifty varieties of balloon designs and provide a featured balloon menu of your choice. Our Magic Show is guaranteed goofy and Carlitta's style of face-painting uses original imagery that sparks children's imagination. We also do a musical variety act for very special occasions.
Carlos and Carlita have joined us at several of our community events. This community focused duo is easy to communicate with and have a friendly easygoing vibe from start to finish. We don't always know how many kids are going to be at one of our events, but Carlos and Carlita come prepared making intricate and imaginative balloon animals for every child.

Other then them booking with me on short notice it was a very poor experience. There was no real interaction with the children fir her bieng a clown there was nothing no joking around or acting silly or nothing other then her trying ti get organized. She kept saying how rusty she was well then dont book a showing and take my hard earned money. The husband showed up not in clown attire and the "so called game" was her blowing up balloons that just kept breaking when she tried to blow them up. At was extremly disorganized and honestly could have saved myself 108 dollars and bought my daughter another gift.
The kids were wondering off during her balloon animal making segment due to the fact that she was not interacting with them at all like it all her head was down just trying to make these balloon animals.
Sorry Carlitta but your must have been expecting this type of review there is no way u thought that you did a good job for these kids in all honesty you should be a little ashamed of your service and quiet frankly should not feel good about taking our money. Your videos on your site dictating how your shows go were fantastic.... you were interacting with the kids you were acting like a clown should silly anf fun you were ZERO of these things at my party.
Be mad all you want it this review but just for min think how we felt and feel being basically robbed of our money.

We had Carlitta for our 2 year olds party Nov 3/19 party.
The booking process was really confusing to start.
Carlitta did not have much success in making any balloon animals and the kids were just given made up ones from a basket which was ok but I was surprised that the attempts to make them failed.
I had requested a puppet show but there was a magic show instead that was way over a 2 year olds head, it was not appropriate for a 2 year old attention span. I have no idea what happened to the puppet show.
It took so long for anything to get set up, there was no flow at all to the performance.
This was not worth the 200$ cost for 6 kids, little value for that money.
I would not consider having them again, nor would I recommend them. The other parents who attended were also disappointed.

I’m sorry you felt you needed to write a negative review of the entertainment for Isabella’s party. There is only one other occasion where this has happened so I was sad to see this.
Is it possible that you were unaware that I had been waiting outside your door fifteen minutes prior to start time; knocking, ringing bells, phoning, texting, going to the side door and finally, in desperation, going to your neighbours across the road as I greatly feared that I had the wrong address? This fifteen minutes is essential for set up and get organized. So, yes I was entirely rattled to begin with and no recovery time.
As for your request for a puppet show, I looked through any detail and this was not listed in the booking sheet or anywhere at all. I don’t do a puppet show, I have them as part of the magic show.I have done this show for 7 years and it has been popular with the toddler group. I aim for the median age (ages 3+ in this case) so, you were correct, a child upon turning two ‘would not get it” Usually parents understand that in the case of an infant birthday, the entertainment is for their other older guests. You mention there were only 6 childrenYou had the opportunity, as advertised to have up to 15 children and I'm afraid I am not responsible for cancellation of guests.

Carlitta went over and above to make sure all of the guests at our event had a wonderful time.
Carlitta was awesome with the kids and we had some kids that parents told us they are scared of clowns but they really liked her as she wasn't so scary. We thank you so much for entertaining our children and can't wait to have her come again. :)

We booked Carlos & Carlitta for 2 hours at an outdoor event in April. Through the cold weather, light rain, and a consistent line up for balloon animals they had a smile on their face and did amazing work! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We booked Carlos and Carlitta for a 2 hour period for my son's 5th birthday celebration. I must say that it was the most fun filled two hours and was the highlight of the whole celebration. Both of them are very professional and at the same time very funny. Carlos' s guitar playing skills were great. Face painting by Carlitta was a lot of fun as well and all the children were very happy. So were Carlos' s balloon twisting skills. There was no animal that Carlos could not make. I would highly recommend this duo if you want your son or daughter to become a star in front of their friends....thanks once again to them. We could not have asked for anything more.
We ask Carlos and Carlitta to stretch a little out of the traditional birthday party model to help us with our 50th Anniversary Party. They were great!!! We had a restaurant full of happy customers both young and old. They did a great job at reaching everyone and added great entertainment for the night. I loved seeing all the creations that they came up with and all the smiling faces. Very professional and I would highly recommend them.

About Carlos & Carlitta
Richard Thompson and Cecily Moon have performed as the children’s entertainment duo Carlos & Carlitta for seven years and bring unique, fun and personalized focus to birthdays,
special occasions and community events. They have over 35 years experience in the
arts and entertainment industry. They received vaudeville/circus training at the Circus Academy and Second City in Toronto and actively participate in the remarkable clown culture of that city and are active on Vancouver Island all year round now!
Fun and safe! All face-paints are Paradise, Ben Nye and Snazaroo brands so are skin friendly, non toxic and washable. We are fully insured under TCA performers liability and in compliance with Ontario's Vulnerable Sector Police Records Search.
For our magic show we need about 7 square feet of space and for the musical stage show about 10 square feet with electrical outlets nearby. We need to install a full PA sound system for the stage show so easy access from the outside of house to the party room is important.
Face-painting needs a fairly well lit space. (a table and 2 chairs would also be wonderful)
We bring headsets for the larger parties.
