Carolina Crossroads is a Florence, SC based bluegrass band, featuring gospel, traditional and contemporary bluegrass. Always tasteful, and clean music & fun! We have added new 2024 songs to our music sets and are looking for bookings within 75 miles of Florence SC.
This band is easy to work with, very polite and friendly. They put on a great show.

Carolina Crossroads is a Florence, SC based bluegrass band, featuring gospel and traditional bluegrass.
The "house band" for a local BBQ restaurant for several years, we play local events such as revivals, church services, family reunions, birthdays, and festivals. Our performances are always tasteful and entertaining for the entire family.
We have released 2 CDs: God's Been Good to Me and All American Bluegrass.

Members:
Playing rhythm guitar and singing lead is Ernie McCormick. Ernie, was born in Florence, SC and sang Southern Gospel music for many years before joining the bluegrass band. He is an active church member and sings in the choir. He resides on his family farm just outside of Florence.
Playing banjo and is Ted Hilliard. Ted is originally from Rhode Island and played for 13 years there before moving to Florence SC.
Playing mandolin and singing high harmony is Charlie Calder. Charlie, born in the Elim area of Florence, SC, began playing guitar at the age of 12 and the mandolin in the earlier 90’s. Charlie grew up and cut his teeth on bluegrass music. He lives with his family in the Oakdale area of Florence, SC.
Playing rhythm and some lead guitar is Sam Taylor, who also sings lead and tenor. Sam lives in Lake City, SC.
Playing bass and singing lead as well as harmony is Craig Cribb. Craig lives just outside of Lake City, SC.
We have several sound systems we can provide, based on the venue and number of people in attendance.
We have a bluegrass gospel and traditional bluegrass set, and can entertain for two hours easily if needed.
