Hi how are you? My name is Carolina Mama, I'm a singer/ percussionist /guitarist and I play Latin Music (boleros, bossa nova and Jazz. Music from Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela, Spain, and United States in Spanish, Portuguese and English. I play arrangement of songs that everybody loves and also original music!
I have small ensemble with guitar and percussion, and then with the full group for bigger parties

Carolina Mama is an upcoming Argentinean Singer-Songwriter that blends an intimate singing style with masterful storytelling, integrating the heart of different cultures and a sense of imagination that takes the audience on a trip through time and space.
She began her musical studies in primary school, and had the opportunity to sing with Juan Carlos Baglietto, Lito Vitale, Julia Zenko, Leon Gieco among others.
Later in her education, she decided to pursue a Masters career in Film and Photography, at the Universidad Nacional del Arte, where she discover her passion for story telling through music.
In 2014, she recorded with the nonet Projecto Nacarola. Thanks to this album she was able to perform in the most prestigious jazz venues in Argentina such Thelonious Club, Bebop Club, CC Konex, Centro Cultural San Martín amongst others.
That same year she travelled to NYC and she was granted with a scholarship to become part of the distinguished program of The New School of Jazz and Contemporary Music.
In 2016 she was invited to perform at the International Jazz Festival of Argentina as an up and coming artist.
Since her move to NYC, she has collaborated in several projects, such as the South American Jazz Collective; an orchestra integrated by recognized musicians who won Best Improvisation Student Ensemble for the prestigious DownBeat Magazine. She also created a sextet named Levana, and composed/arranged music from Latin America and Spain, performing all over NYC.
Most recently she started working with ALJA (Afro Latin Jazz Alliance) and invited to perform with Arturo O Farrill for the release of this Grammy nominated album, Fandango at the Wall, and has upcoming shows in 2019 with the orchestra.
She has toured and traveled in Mexico, Europe, South America and Africa.
