Classically trained musician bringing the sweet and mellow sound of the cello to your proposal, wedding, cocktail hour, or private event. Choose from a setlist of classical, pop covers, oldies, and Celtic strings. If you have special music requests I will work with you in the to bring your vision to life. String ensembles are available on request.
We hired Catherine as a violin/cello duo for my brother's wedding - she was wonderful, cheerful, good communication, and the music was absolutely beautiful! Would recommend!

Catherine is an active performer and Suzuki teacher in New England. Catherine attended the Osher School of Music in Southern Maine where she received a B.M. in cello performance. Catherine studied under Boston Symphony member, William Rounds and participated in several masterclasses, most notably with cellist Inbal Segev, cellist Yibing Chu, and A Far Cry Orchestra. Catherine has performed with various New England music groups such as The Portland Stage Theatre Company, The Raymond Arts Alliance, and the Acadia Quartet.
Strings need coverage if outside. Cannot perform in temps under 55F.
Amplification is generally not needed as instruments have a bright and full sound.
