I'm Cathy Townsend, born and raised in Chicago. Since the age of 7, I was made aware of the gift that God blessed me with and that is SINGING. My influencers are Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn , Etta James etc. I'm a seasoned, matured Gospel Jazz RECORDING Artist with a smooth, but yet powerful sound. I've ministered nationally as well as Inter National thru the years. I believe in inspiring people weather it is Gospel or just pure standard songs that reflect love, compassion and kindness. I'm just what you are looking for to inspire and uplift your event. My husband Stan and I are the CEO'S OF TOWNSEND MUSIC MINISTRIES where we specialize in providing various events that will uplift the families of those who have lost loved ones to the Senseless Violence that plagues of day by day.
