Founding Member - Salma Horvath
Having received her bachelors and masters degrees cum laude in violin performance while on scholarship at the University of North Texas, Mrs. Salma Horvath has held principal positions in professional and collegiate orchestras - concertmistress of the the San Diego City Ballet Orchestra, principal second violin of the Odysseus Chamber Orchestra, concertmistress in the CSULB Symphony Orchestra and UNT Baroque Orchestra, as well as assistant concertmistress in the UNT Symphony Orchestra and San Diego State University Symphony Orchestra.

Mrs. Horvath has enjoyed receiving additional training from world-reknowned teachers in various competitive international music festivals including the American Bach Soloists Academy, Boston Early Music Festival, Chautauqua International Music Festival, Texas Music Festival, and the Castleman Quartet Program.

An avid chamber musician and collaborator, Mrs. Horvath has played with colleagues in a variety of ensemble recitals ranging from clarinet trios, piano trios, jazz combos, Baroque ensembles, and choral concerts as well as solo voice recitals. As part of a duo with her twin sister, her performances have been praised for their versatility, artistic commitment and expressiveness, presenting concerts in numerous venues throughout the United States.
