Celia van den Bogert

Celia van den Bogert is a rising sophomore studying harp performance at the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre, and Dance. This past year, she performed with a variety of ensembles including the UM Symphony Band, Orpheus Chamber Singers, and Michigan Youth Symphony Orchestra. She has played in master classes taught by harpists Paula Page and Nancy Allen.

Celia has played for a variety of events in the past including weddings, cocktail parties, fundraisers, and receptions. In addition, she has experience accompanying choirs, other musicians, and playing as a soloist in the context of religious services. Her studies on the harp have brought her to a variety of performance venues, including Severance Hall, Hill Auditorium, the Shanghai Oriental Art Center, Seiji Ozawa Hall, and Lyon and Healy Hall.
