We are an original Celtic Spiritual Fusion Folk band made up of a husband/wife team who are professional musicians and their wonderful musician friends who come along to make beautiful music and change lives together. We are able to take traditional Celtic tunes and make them our own with a twist of jazz, classical, and acoustic sound and style. We also write original pieces that touch the heart in a Spiritual way while trowing in a twist of Spanish Celtic Jazz guitar. Come experience the Celtic side of life. We would love to come and play for you any time. Just call Rebekah Lawson at (phone number hidden) or e-mail her at (email hidden) Go to Band Profile to hear our music.
We too were lucky enough to attend the free concert
provided by the local library in New Castle. We had
a delicious meal at Primo and then walked down the
sidewalk to the new 1400 Plaza venue to see Celtic
Rain. What a truly lovely experience for our family!
Beautiful vocals wafted through the evening heat to
our ears. We found ourselves contemplating how
bagpipes must work this morning as we were drinking
our morning coffee. We think Celtic Rain is amazing and
we'd gladly travel to another town to see them again!!!
Im sitting at a live free concert in New Castle Indiana listening to Celtic Rain, and as a 100% true Irish lassie, I give this band a 5 star review rating! Thank you Celtic Rain for gracing our Frew Concert Stage, and please do come back to see us anytime!

*Husband: Samuel Lawson:
Real music on real instruments for everyone that can go anywhere. More than just vibrations in the air, but melodies that transcend time and place, that communicate without words. Harmonies that resonate with the story of the universe. Okay - this is getting overly metaphysical, but that's how I feel when I'm sitting in a pool of sound echoing from my instruments: classical guitar, lute, mandolin, tin-whistle or fipple flute.
I combine Classical, Celtic, Renaissance, and Jazz repertoire, historical research, and original works to create experiences for audiences, experiences which go beyond that of the traditional recital-style performance. I often perform as a soloist, other times with my wife, Rebekah Lawson, as well as with ensembles. I play Classical, Celtic, Jazz, and early music genres such as Renaissance and Baroque. It is a sizeable repertoire that I've built over nearly a quarter-century of performing.
Previous engagements include performances for the Indiana Society of the Classical Guitar, Barcelona Tapas restaurant, the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Basile Theatre, Fishers Renaissance Faire, the Scottish Society of Indianapolis, the Indianapolis Scottish Highland Games, Claddagh Irish Pub, Garfield Park Arts Center, the Fort Wayne Cherry Blossom Festival, the Indianapolis Zoo, Fairview Presbyterian Church, and a great many weddings and parties. Original composition performed by the Chancel Choir of Fairview Presbyterian Church.
