What To Expect

Prior to your event, you get:

Free initial phone or in-person consultation. We go over location details, timeframes, venue setup options, etc.
Free ceremony and reception timelines (upon receipt of signed contract and deposit).
Access to our music database to select any special song requests and order.

On the day of your event, we provide:

An organized and professional DJ.
A quality sound system, mixing board and laptop.
Two handheld microphones (one wired, one wireless).
High-quality, multicolored LED centerpiece dance lights.
Free setup and teardown.
MC service at no additional charge.
We have hundreds of songs on hand, so we can play just about anything. If WiFi is available, we can download songs, on the spot, for special requests.

After your event, you can expect:

A follow-up email, text, and/or phone call.
A final email with links for you to post reviews on various sites (e.g., Yelp, Facebook & Google).

We are a husband and wife team that lives in Sarasota and are very passionate about music and our work. John has been in the music industry for over 20 years. His knowledge of music production and sound, combined with many years of playing in live bands and touring has equipped him with a wealth of knowledge in sound and entertainment. Ever since he was young, John has been interested in a wide variety of music styles and genres, and aims to please any audience. John has performed and DJ'ed at many weddings, parties, and even concerts.

I also really enjoy mixing in some obscure songs with familiar songs to give the audience a unique listening experience. Gabrielle Hoover has been working in the event planning industry for 10 years, hosting over 300+ events for her clients. She has also worked with John in the music industry for the last 3 years, helping to run sound and logistics.

As owners of Ceremony Entertainment, we offer detailed event planning, friendly service, DJ/MC performance, superior sound and event lighting for wedding​ parties, and other DJ events- all at an affordable rate that is comfortable for any budget.
