Charlene Robinson & SoundWave was birthed post-COVID after a group of Nashville musicians performed for a third Friday event which featured a night of clean comedy and musical entertainment. The audience’s response of applause and ovation caused the musicians to recognize they were divinely brought together.
Collectively, they’ve performed on Good Morning America, and graced the stage with such international acts as the Zapp Band, The Ohio Players, Lakeside, Vince Gill, Reba McIntyre, Marion Meadows, Boney James, ConFunkShun, Jackiem Joyner, After 7, Phil Perry, Bobby Byrd, and many more, both nationally and internationally.
They play Smooth Jazz, Top 40, R&B, and Gospel Jazz.
This band is extremely talented and put on a great performance for my grandmother’s 75th birthday. Charlene is a great singer and knows how to work a crowd. They helped create an event we will never forget.

If the gig is well lit, there is no need for lighting; however, if it's not, we request the client to provide adjustable stage lighting. If the event is outside, we request covering from the elements, and an elevated stage area.

For parties client should supply: P.A. System, (2 vox mics, 5 monitors) depending on gig. However, for an additional fee the band can provide a P.A. system.
