Charlie T. Sequitur, also known as Julie Moore, found clowning at a young age as a way to synthesize her dual passions of performing and contained chaos. Inspired by artists such as the Marx Brothers, Lord Buckley, Victor Borge, the Zucker Brothers and Danny Kaye she clowns as way to bring absurdity to everyday life. Utilizing elements of physical theatre, vaudeville, commedia dell’arte, japanese theatre and slapstick comedy, she's performed in circus rings and living rooms alike.
She's a graduate of Hampshire College, the Academia dell’arte, Headlong Performance Institute and Mooseburger Clown Arts. Her stage work was recently featured at the CrisisArt Festival in Arezzo, Italy and the Houston Fringe Festival.
