Cheaper Than Therapy hosts classic rock songs all the way up to today's rock/pop, with a dash of country. You can expect a full-on good time, and will be highly motivated to tap your feet and shake your butts!
We have played shows that feature crowds from 21 years old, all the way to 90 years old, and everyone stays happy!
At the end of the day, we keep it light, we enjoy ourselves on stage, and we have a good time. We're not afraid to tackle any song you would like at your event.
Cheaper Than Therapy is a 5 piece band that has a combined total of 115 years of experience. CTT ranges from popular hits of the 60's all the way to today's top hits. Very few bands can range from The Beatles to Daft Punk and everything in between.
Lead singer Jimmy Robbins is a former solo artist with 25 years of vocal experience. His range is only believable when you hear it for yourself.
Lead guitarist Mike "Sarge" Vandeveer is an active duty Marine Reservist with more than 20 years experience in picking strings. Mike is associated with acts such as Dee Rock, Dixie Wrecked, and countless others.
Rhythm guitarist Trevor Light is a professor on the guitar. His original band "Numbered" released their first album last year, and has received very high marks from various musicians all over the country.
Drummer Shane Brown, formerly of "Unchained" is highly regarded in the local music scene, and is coveted by many original and cover acts.
Bassist Rudy Wonton has been in the music industry for 30 years, and has toured with many original acts, as well as local cover bands. Rudy is "That Guy" that you're sure you've seen play in the area.
While many artists have become "jaded" in the music scene, CTT stays grounded, and always assures 110% on stage. In the words of Lead Singer Jimmy Robbins, "Good times are always guaranteed!"
Cheaper Than Therapy is always open to learning new songs, and will provide quality entertainment to any event you put in front of them.
We have our own sound, but we're not opposed to using house sound. We have a light show, and can provide fog. We can also dress for the event, if there's a theme.
