We are a 4 man Blues and Classic Rock band with over 10 years experience. We have played many venues such as House of Blues, Buddy Guy's Legends, Kingston Mines, Chicago Blues Festival, Harrahs Casino and many other notable Chicagland venues. We are available for hire at $1, 500 a day for a maximum of 4 sets (45 minutes each) and three 15 min breaks in and around Chicago Metropolitan area. Location must have sufficient electrical access and space for equipment needed. Price varies for any venues over 100 miles. Please call today. Booking no sooner than two weeks from current date. Must agree to written contract with 20% down payment cash/local check or credit card accepted.

Checkmates bring a old school vibe of music from artists like Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix, Albert King and many original songs from jazz/blues to a classic rock sound. Most crowds have been delighted to hear songs from the 60's and 70's. We ask that you choose a specific genre of music so we can be focused on what you want to hear. We are willing to insure your piece of mind in booking us. We require a contract and verification of all parties and location involved and we are happy to give the same. We provide instruments, sound board, PA's, Microphones... We do not bring lights or generators. All contracts will be mailed for signature and returned with deposit via certified mail. If client requires a meeting in person prior to date an additional fee of $150.00 to $500.00 depending on distance and time needed to get to location non refundable cash or credit on day of meeting.
