I am currently pursuing my Bachelor in Fine Arts and loving up school like crazy. I am also a coordinator for Art Avenue, a local gallery, boutique, and studio. Art Avenue is super rad and exists today due to big hearted DIY artist volunteers. I moved to Greenville, Nc in 1998. I love living here and I love our community. I really want to give special thanks to my local tribe and close friends for cheering me on and supporting me through my beginning years as a face painter. As an artist, face painting keeps my heart open and creative flow always going.
I always enjoyed decorating my skin for special occasions but it wasn't until 2012 when I joined my friend to face paint for a community garden fundraiser and completely fell in love with the process. There was just something about all the great vibes that came along with adding a splash of color to a gathering and little eyes lighting up from transformed faces that I had realized I found the job for me. I decided to start a face painting business and created Cheek To Cheek. I worked hard, studied techniques, and practiced all the time. By 2014, I had refined my skill and began to explore events outside my community and expand my business. Face painting and smiling faces is where my passion lies but I now also enjoy sharing my skill by training new crew members.
