Chef Bananas is not like any other magician. My show is a one of kind comedy magic show centered around food, that involves a lot of audience participation, tons of belly laughs, and mind blowing magic. Unlike most other magicians, Chef Bananas is a hilarious character that brings personality to the show that the guests will remember the rest of their lives. It's like having a party character and a magician all in one. When your guests think of the fun they had at the show, they will remember the great event that you hosted.
For my daughter's 2nd birthday, we decided that a magic show would serve as great entertainment. My husband did his research and landed on Chef Bananas. At almost 1,000 miles away from the party location, it was important to have all the details laid out and understood!
Chef Bananas was amazing! He was very easy to talk to, quick to respond, super professional, and the kids LOVED him! What we loved most about his show was it was actually a show! This was just not a few magic tricks here and there...it was a real show with a real production!!
Chef Bananas arrived early (as discussed) to set-up! Set-up you ask? YES! Stage, lights, music, props, you name it!! The only thing not included with Chef Bananas were the kids! He made everything look so easy. Chef Bananas did not need any help setting up, so I tried to just stay out of his way so he could get on with it! It was entire set with intro music as the kids gathered, to picture opportunities with props at the end! The kids and the adults loved every minute of it! Most of our guests were over the age of 2, but even with my 2-year old, he was able to complete his show without craziness!!!
Another cool aspect of Chef Bananas is he makes it a priority to include guests in the show. It was great! He really made the kids feel like they were included in the birthday party. I later learned that some of the guests went home and asked their mom and dad for Chef Bananas at their party!
If you are considering a magic show, I am here to tell you that you will not be disappointed with Chef Bananas. If there is ever a need for a magic show in the future, I have our guy...that's a promise!

Chef Bananas performed at our school for a group of kindergarten kids. I can not say enough great things! From the start- he was friendly and professional on the phone and very accomodating while selecting a performance date and time. He was on time (big one) and set up his awesome set complete with backdrop and his own sound system. The kids LOVED him! He was energetic, funny, and kept the kids engaged the entire show. They were laughing, dancing, clapping, and raising their hands the whole time. He had a great costume and many props (the kids loved his banana phone). Show length selected and jokes/music/dancing/magic were perfect for this age group (the adults had a great time too). I can say Chef Bananas has his act down pat. Everything from set up to break down went very smooth and the kids had a blast! I would highly recommend Chef Bananas for your child's party, school or library performance, or any time you just want to have some fun!
Chef Banana's is one-of-a-kind. Kids of all ages can't get enough of him. He has them in stitches and full of curiosity during his entire performance. Definitely need to book Chef Banana's for your next family celebration. He will not disappoint!!!

Chef Bananas is a hidden jewel in the St Louis area. I had him at my son’s 5th birthday party and his presence, humor, and interaction with the children and parents made the party. I have also seen him on stage - creative and engaging!

I took our 7 year old son and 4 year old daughter to see Chef Banana.
He was sooo funny and witty! I had many good laughs myself! He also was amazing with on the spot humor as one particular participant in his show was probably not as cooperative as he would hv wished and he handled it brilliantly, as if was supposed to be that way. Loved him and will definitely go see him again!

Chef BANANAS has had a passion for magic his whole life. In fact, the chef was performing for people at the very early age of 4 months. His parents couldn't believe his magic and comedy chops came before he could even crawl. He couldn't talk yet either, but his knack for silent magic acts impressed everyone.
The chef wasn't always called BANANAS. He was born as Chris P. Bacon. His parents decided to change his name when he was seven because of his insatiable appetite for BANANAS. BANANAS also found their way into the chef's life at every turn. In fact, when he was nine years old Chef BANANAS ran his bike into a banana truck and ended up in the hospital for three weeks. He refused to eat anything other than BANANAS. Luckily, he found a nurse that knew how to make his favorite, BANANAS Foster.
When he finally got out of the hospital, he made the decision to follow his dream, and his passion. He devoted the next 35 years to becoming the best entertainer he could, using the only two things he cared about in life, magic and BANANAS.
