Chelsea's Balloons!

Expect Balloon Animals! And lots of them!

Kids love balloons and I love making kids happy so it's not hard to get them engaged! Typically, I make the first balloon and then the kids get excited and then I just make whatever they want the whole time.

At this point I've lost count of how many different balloon animals I can make, but I can make almost anything. (Or I'll at least try) If you have a specific request for your party let me know!

For smaller events like birthday parties and neighborhood get-togethers, I like to have a maximum of about twenty kids in an hour. That way everybody can get what they want :)

For larger events like school festivals and such, (where the goal is to get as many kids as possible) I can go through nearly 100 balloons an hour with most of the figures using one or two balloons each.

More technical details:
I come fully prepared with everything I need. I keep my balloons in an apron so I am able to roam around or stay at a specific station and let the kids come to me. We can talk about what is best for your event.

My name is Chelsea and I make balloon animals.

The question people ask me most often, is how I got into balloons, so here's the story:

When I was fourteen (and I had just taken drivers ed) my mom kept telling me she wasn't going to get me a car when I turned sixteen, so I started looking for a job. It turns out, not many companies hire fourteen-year-olds. However, I got lucky because one of my friend's worked as a balloon artist for a balloon company, so he got me the DVD that he learned from, and I started working for the same company. It turned out to be an awesome job. I guess I ended up being pretty good at it too because I became the regional manager when I was fifteen. Being a manager was as awesome though, but I tried it for a little while, and then I decided to go out and make my own business. Now, seven years later, here I am with an awesome job making balloons at parties, events, and restaurants. Oh, and I got the car I always wanted!

So that's how I got started doing balloons. Here's a little bit about myself as well:

I am now twenty-five years old. I am a full time student at NC State majoring in both Physics and Math, and I do balloons on the weekends!

Between school and ballooning, I don't really have much free time. However, when I do find some extra time, I like to paint, play guitar, and hang out with my dog Bentley :-)
