Copperpot is an acoustic two man cover band (William Wagstaff and Dan Tabeling) based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. With the addition of a digital rhythm section, they give the audience the experience of a full four piece band. Cover music spanning from the 60’s to the present, they are consistently adding new cover songs to their vast library. They have over 20 years of performing and live show experience. All of the necessary equipment needed to perform will be provided. They will perform in several different settings consisting of, but not limited to, restaurants, bars, weddings, corporate events, and house parties. Check out (link hidden) for videos and more!
Dan and Bill were AWESOME!! Excellent music choices, all of our guests were complimentary of their performance. The event lasted into the night and they played an additional set for us.
I would rate this experience as one of the best ever. Highly recommend these guys for any venue big or small.

Booked Copperpot to play at our neighborhood party on 6/16/23. They responded to questions, emails, etc quickly. Punctual for the party and did a great job. Everyone enjoyed them and they took some unusual requests that made attendees very happy. We will be booking them again for future events.
Copperpot did a great job. They stayed in communication with us prior to the event; showed up and was ready to play when our guests arrived. Great group of guys who love what they do. They took requests and even had music playing in the background when they took a break to keep the party going.
Copperpot played at our son's HS Graduation open house. Many of our guests mentioned how they enjoyed the music, and that Bill has a great voice! We had them use judgment on playlist, and it turned out perfectly for our setting/audience. If you are looking for a great cover band to add live music to your event, definitely check out Copperpot!

We booked Copperpot for evening entertainment at an outdoor Jeep Jamboree. We had around 200 people in attendance and these guys had people singing along and having a great time! Many of the participants commented to us how great the entertainment was and it really made the evening and rounded out a great event. I would absolutely recommend this group for your event!
Copperpot was amazing! We had a much smaller crowd than anticipated...freaking Covid, but Copperpot adapted so well. They interacted with everyone. It really brought something special to the event. They were so accommodating. They communicated with us every step of the way. We will definitely book them for our next event.

We hired this talented Duo for our wedding based on a referral from a friend. We had not heard them play or even heard of them. I admit I was a bit nervous to blindly hire a band for our wedding day. However, when I met with Bill to discuss my wants and needs I was instanty confident that things were going to be fine. I gave very vauge instructions with high expectations and they delivered! They were professional and accommodating.
The music was great. They provided The music for the entire day. Ceremony, cocktail hour, processional, dinner and the party! The setlist was full of variety. They created the mood perfectly.
They received many compliments from our guests.
Every bride wants their wedding to be just perfect and This band really played a huge role in making that day truly perfect.
We throughly enjoyed the music & talent of Chester Copperpot. Bill, Dan & Jason rolled with the shortened setup time for our event and the gentlemen were pure professionals! They provided our group a great evening of entertainment!
Outdoor event. Just as they got set up the rains came. Extremely heavy rain. All their equipment got wet. However, they were not detoured. They played unplugged under a tent and sounded great. They were awesome under the circumstances. Will càll them again for sure.

When you hire us, you get two professionals who will make your event special. We can be quiet background music (appropriate for fine dining) or we can be the life of the crowd (getting people to dance and sing). We will cater to your needs and make the whole experience easy and fun.
Chester Copperpot consists of Bill Ferguson-Wagstaffe and Dan Tabeling. Playing in bands for over 20 years, they have been all around the country performing in everything from large venues to tiny hole-in-the-wall establishments. Bill sings lead vocals and plays rhythm guitar. Dan plays lead guitar, sings backup vocals and also plays some rhythm at times. Even though there are only two performers, they use accompaniment that they recorded in the studio to make it sound like a full band is playing. That way you get the full experience without needing a 4-5 piece band.
We honestly only need a power source that's less than 100' away and a 10' x 10' flat space to play. We will take care of the rest. If you are supplying the stage/sound man and want us to use your PA instead, we will need 2 DI boxes for our mixer, or a snake that's less than 12' from our set up.
