I am an artist specializing in interactive live art pieces and photography.
As a live painter, my greatest forte is being able to connect with people. Through that connection and exchange of energy, my live art becomes a captivating experience. I use different techniques and unique mediums throughout my work, not only to create an engagement with the audience, but to create a correlation between the painting and the client or event.
My goal as a live artist is to create a new form of engagement within a crowd, stimulating their creative senses in such a way that the audience becomes an additional element in the final art piece.
As a photographer, I strive for that same human connection.

LIVE ART
Everything starts with a call with the client to understand their vision and how they want the artwork to become a part of their event. I then put together 2-3 designs and present them to the client so they can choose which one I will be painting. I like to work with the client hand in hand on what it is they want to emphasize or capture in the painting, while still maintaining my unique style.
For corporate events, I work with event agencies and brands on making sure the brand stands out and the artwork becomes a part of the event.
For weddings, I like to use engagement photos to create customized design of the bride and the groom, and use them not only for the painting but also as collage throughout the artwork. I’m also a professional photographer, so if bride and groom don’t have engagement photos, we can plan a photo session as well.
After everything is decided, I come one hour prior to the event, set-up, and in 4-5 hours, the mixed media artwork will be finished and is forever yours to keep!
LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHY
As a lifestyle photographer I always strive to capture people in their true essence. I like to schedule a call with my clients prior to the shoot to get to know them better, and discuss what it is they're looking to capture. Whether it is more of a fashion styled shoot, or an informal lifestyle shoot, my goal is to make sure that my client is always happy. During the shoot, I engage with my clients or the models making sure that they feel comfortable and at ease throughout the photo session, and I love to improv with the surrounding and props.
Chiara Mecozzi was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. From an early age she was exposed to an artist life through her mother, Miriam Costanza, a prominent painter, and her father, a fashion photographer. Growing up in an artist studio, Chiara was able to develop skills and a curiosity for the arts that led her to continue her education in the arts.
After graduating with a Bachelor’s in Art History and a minor in both painting and drawing, she felt the need to explore different tools and eventually began her career as an artist and photographer.
Her mixed media work consists of fragmentary juxtaposed photographs painted on large format canvases.
“Each mixed media piece is a collage of objects and people that at one point have become part of my life. My work is a reflection of an emotion felt and a capture in a particular moment.”
Her fine art photography consists of capturing everyday objects we encounter and provoking a narrative by adding a juxtaposition through the use of a figurative form. Each inanimate subject she photographs can be seen as lifeless—but how many stories exist or instances have happened within that subject that give it life?
She is also a fashion and lifestyle photographer, capturing the simple beauty and essence of her clients. She has done weddings, engagements, maternity shoots, and much more.

"In a world with so many distractions, I strive to connect with my audience to engage their senses when least.” -Chiara Mecozzi
Every event is unique so we can discuss these details during our first conversation.
People. I’ve always been very inspired by people and their stories. They journeys through life, the way they think, the way they dress, each person’s story. Both through the use of photography and painting, I strive to capture a person’s essence. Even with my live mixed media work, I work hand in hand with my clients, whether it’s a wedding or a corporate event, and use figures and techniques to capture the essence they are trying to convey.
The set-up depends on the size of the canvas that the client requests. I always suggest no smaller than 4 x 4 feet, because you want to create resonance in the event. Normally for canvases up to 5 x 5 feet, I will bring along a wooden easel, if bigger, I
