Hi! My name is Annie and I have been dancing for 11 years now. I started ballet at age 6 and Chinese traditional dance at 8, becoming more serious about the latter as I grew up. I went to Qing Yang Dance Studio , where I was able to learn so much about my culture through dance as well as get the opportunity to be involved in multiple performances every year at charity events, art festivals, cultural fairs, and more. Even as I graduated from the studio I wanted to continue to do what I love and perform, which is why I turned to GigSalad!
I just need a speaker or sound system my phone could connect to, or I could send my music file beforehand for you to handle. I would like to know the dimensions of the "stage" and the kind of flooring as well so I know what I'm working with. Lighting is definitely not a must, but if it is available I would love to discuss lighting options as it could really add a lot to the performance!
