Chopain the Composer

I am a composer/musician living in Pompano Beach, Florida. Although I am permanently disabled due to a work injury in 1989, on the days when I feel my best, I love to compose and play music. I have been playing the piano for 50 years and writing music for 40. I decided to call myself Chopain because my spinal condition keeps me in a constant battle with pain. The music I play and compose really helps me to feel better. I love to play the keyboards, sing, compose music in many styles and create music in general. I also love working with DAW technologies. MIDI interfaces, samplers, synthesizers and most other audio gear. I worked professionally in stage, laser entertainment, film and television for 20 years as an audio engineer, video tech, motion picture machine technician, laserist and animator. I’m hoping to participate with others on musical projects of all types. I’m just looking to find my place in the music world.
