Chris Clark
- Huntersville, NC
- Singing Guitarist
- Travels up to 200 miles
- $150-$500
Overview
I’m a passionate solo musician with a love for connecting with audiences through music. I enjoy playing songs by some of my favorite artists (Gin Blossoms, BoDeans, Steve Earle, The Replacements, Fountains of Wayne, Billy Bragg), crowd favorites (Bruce Springsteen, Van Morrison, Tom Petty, U2, Eagles, John Mellencamp), and whatever requests may come from the crowd!
I adjust my performance to suit your venue/event. I can play along with backing tracks I created myself to replicate a full band sound. I can also go with an all-natural solo acoustic and vocal approach. I read the room and vary from mellow to upbeat according to the vibe.

What to Expect
When you hire me to play for you, I can adjust my performance to suit your venue/event. With the assistance of technology, I can play along with proprietary backing tracks I created myself in my home studio to replicate a full band sound. This works best in outdoor settings and indoor venues like bars, restaurants, and breweries. I can also go with an all-natural solo acoustic and vocal approach, which works well in cafes, coffee shops, and smaller indoor settings. Sometimes, I am asked to do an entirely instrumental performance for situations that call for non-vocal background music; this is a popular request for cocktail parties and holiday celebrations. I’m pretty good at reading the room and can vary from mellow to upbeat according to the vibe of the event.
Engaging with the audience is at the heart of my performances, and I’m always ready to fulfill song requests and invite sing-alongs. Let’s make your venue or event special with a performance that resonates.
About
I’m Chris Clark, a passionate solo acoustic musician with a love for connecting with audiences through music. I started performing music professionally as a teenager. Over the years, I have opened for and shared the stage with numerous well-known recording and touring artists. I’m a trained recording and live sound engineer, and I earned a degree in music from Radford University. I enjoy playing solo acoustic performances featuring some of my favorite artists (Gin Blossoms, BoDeans, Steve Earle, The Replacements, Fountains of Wayne, Billy Bragg), crowd favorites (Bruce Springsteen, Van Morrison, Tom Petty, U2, Eagles, John Mellencamp), and whatever requests may come from the crowd!
Additional Booking Notes
I have my own sound system (and lighting if necessary). I don't need a big stage - I can fit nicely into a 10x10 space.
