My diverse solo guitar repertoire includes classical favorites, jazz standards, latin and bossa nova, rock, and pop, and is the perfect mood music for weddings, lounges, lobbies, restaurants or anywhere some nice, non-offensive music is desired. Or if you're looking for a band that will leave you sweaty and screaming for more, I'm happy to call in some friends and we'll lay down some nasty funk, hip-hop, rock, R&B and soul. (Please specify if you want a band, otherwise I'll assume you want solo). Having performed extensively throughout Colorado and the surrounding area, I am professional, punctual, and happy to take requests for whatever songs you'd like to hear (given advanced notice).

When I play solo guitar, I try to set a relaxing mood that will entertain and amuse listeners without overpowering them. Sometimes my playing is the center of attention, such as when I perform as part of a wedding ceremony, and nothing short of perfection will do. Sometimes the nature of the venue or event will suggest a more discreet profile (such as when I play restaurants, lounges, hotel lobbies, etc) where some people might freely talk over my playing, but those who listen closely will recognize familiar melodies and intriguing arrangements of pop, R&B, soul and rock hits mixed amongst jazz and classical standards. However when it's time to really party and mellow solo guitar is not the vibe, I'm happy to bringing some friends along for duos, trios, quartets or more, which allows for a lot more energetic and fun styles like funk, hip-hop, be-bop, rock, R&B and soul.
Whether performing elegant solo classical guitar, burning jazz and infectious funk with his own trio and combo groups, or rocking the house as a sideman, Denver-based guitarist Chris Craig brings excellence, expressiveness, creativity and professionalism to every performance. He has shared the stage with Billy Preston & Fred Wesley, and opened for Earth, Wind and Fire, Rufus with Chaka Khan, and the Sugar Hill Gang.

My only requirement is that there is a power source, adequate space for me and my amp, something to sit on (a stool or armless chair works best. I can bring my own if necessary).
I'm constantly adding songs to my repertoire, and I'm happy to perform requests if given advance notice.
