About
At the age of 5, Chris had one goal… to one day wrestle in the same ring as his childhood heroes and become a professional wrestler. Despite living in a small, secluded, rural town, his smaller size, and a high school guidance counsellor who told him not to pursue a career in professional wrestling, Chris achieved his dream and eventually became a professional wrestling champion who has travelled the world living out his childhood passion.
Chris now shares his story across North America. He creates moments of IMPACT with his audience and teaches powerful lessons that they carry with them as they move forward in their goals. Chris' story is one of overcoming extreme adversity and the physical and mental hardships involved in making it in a world of giants, all while those around you tell you your goals are impossible.
Since childhood, Chris has had a passion for storytelling and performing. He has turned those passions into a thriving career as he travels all across the globe sharing the lessons he's learned while pursuing his passions. He mixes the power of storytelling with the art of teaching to instil memorable lessons into the hearts of his audience. He has shared his story with hundreds of thousands of people of all ages over the last decade.
Chris does all of this while still following his dream as a professional wrestler. Today, Chris is seen on television in 150 million homes in 120 countries worldwide weekly on TNA Wrestling's "IMPACT" wrestling show, performing as "Cody Deaner."
Chris is also a proud father of four young children and has an amazing wife who supports him in all of his endeavours. Chris uses the positive influence he has gained in his career to give back to his community. Through his “Giv’er for Charity” campaign, he has raised thousands of dollars for various children's charities across North America.
An influential storytelling, gifted entertainer, and someone who is inspired to inspire audiences of all ages with messages of resilience, positivity, and hope, reach out to Chris today to see how he can help create moments of IMPACT at your next event.
