Overview
Whether I'm solo or with my duo or band I cover classic songs known by most everyone from the 1960's-1990's with some newer selections covering classic rock, blues, jazz, and country. I'm friendly and easy to work with and will give my all to make your event one to remember. During my years as a full-time musician working in Tulsa, OK as well as Seattle and New York I've learned what it takes to work with clients and provide excellence in all I do. I believe having me or my band at your event will truly take it to the next level. I look forward to working with you!

Chris Hyde is a very talented musician. He is professional, personable and kind. He even sang Happy Birthday to my two 7 year old nieces. Music selection was very good. We sang throughout the night. I will have Chris again. Exceptional person and musician.

Chris performed at our wedding this past weekend. He was amazing. He performed in two locations, on a small stage in an outdoor courtyard for a cocktail hour and for the outdoor wedding ceremony. Many of our guests came up to ask how we hired him. He knew so many wonderful songs and played while my bride came down the aisle with her father and after our marriage ceremony. Chris was super easy to work with and was very communicative. I can't recommend him enough!

What to Expect
I arrive early and prepared. My equipment is small but extremely effective and therefore takes up a limited amount of space. I dress appropriately for the event and read the room for requirements of sound level and song/style selection. In my mind I am there to work WITH the client/planner to make the event the best it can possibly be. I have had much success with this mindset and can supply references.
About
I've been playing/performing for over 20 years and am a full-time musician. I was fortunate to have a fantastic band program at my high school that encouraged me to pursue this career. I am originally from Tulsa but have lived and worked as a full-time, professional musician in Seattle, WA (3 years) and New York City (1 year). The venues ranged from restaurants and clubs to weddings, receptions, and private parties. Along with running my own solo, duo, and groups acts I am often hired as a sideman/accompanist for many artists ranging in styles from jazz and rock to country and blues.
Additional Booking Notes
For all performances I require the following:
* Detailed contract required for all bookings.
* A power outlet within 10-15 feet of the performance area.
* A flat/solid surface to set up on.
* If the performance is outside some sort of tent or cover is preferred.
* A fifteen minute break is allowed for every two-hours of performance.
