Chris was really easy to work with and very professional. He showed up 2 hours early, had everything he needed to set up and treated the set up crew to a few songs, then great DJ music until the start time. Our crowd of 100 loved him. Played such a great variety of music. So many people came up to me to ask where we found him and to let me know he really made the event special. My husband insists we will have a party and hire him to play very soon. I couldn’t recommend him more!

Chris James was so good that I want to have another party just so I can hire him again. I didn't give him much direction and he was able to read the crowd. The guests ages were 20 something to 60 something and all were entertained. Everyone loved him! I promise he will not disappoint.

He was the perfect touch to our companies party on a yacht. Hes voice is so wide range he was doing cover from the 70 to current music.

Chris did a fantastic job with all of the music at my wedding. He played instrumental guitar for the ceremony, played guitar and sang during the cocktail hour, and fulfilled the emcee and DJ roles at the reception. He followed all of my instructions and granted each of my requests. He communicated well with both me and the venue's coordinator, and he sounded great! Working as a wedding coordinator it is adamant that the vendors that we hire are on top of their game. Chris is just that! Not only is he bring the talent of being an amazing guitar player and vocalist, he also has a complete full band that plays cover songs and he also is able to offer the services of a DJ. He arrives at a timely manner with all of his equipment and an amazing light setup. We have worked with Chris for numerous weddings and other events and I highly recommend him for any upcoming party needs. Chris James performed for our school before our Family Movie Night event. Chris was so professional and came very early to set up. He was easy to work and had everything, including lights. His performance was very high octane and incredibly good. A lot of the parents came by to tell me how impressed they were with Chris' performance. Many of the other Chairs for future events at the school came by to ask if they could book Chris for their events! Needless to say, we were very happy with Chris' performance. I would highly recommend him.

Chris James exceeded my expectations for my wedding! He played acoustic guitar for the ceremony, played live music with vocals and guitar for cocktail hour, and was a DJ/MC for my reception. I've had the honor of seeing Chris perform on several occasions and every time I hear him, he always exceeds my expectations! He is an incredibly talented singer and guitar player. He's so good that when he has performed, I let him pick the choice of songs as I completely trust his ability to present and perform. We had the honor of him performing at our 10 year vow renewal. He was just spectacular and nearly everyone of our guests were saying, "Who is this?", "This guy is amazing", and it goes on and on. You literally can't stop dancing to his music! Chris performed at an intimate celebration for my wife and I with 40 attendees. We gave him the freedom to choose the music and he had such an awesome mix from the 70's / 80's / 90's and today. His music set the mood for the event and we had dozen's of compliments from our friends about Chris and the music. Buried at work so i'll be quick. Chris was great from start to finish. Stayed in touch continually, enough to assure us we were in good hands, but never a burden. He actually helped coordinate a smooth ceremony w/ his knowledge and in working w/ the minister. he has extensive plat list, recorded options where necessary and appropriate, multiple mics and set ups and more. He is willing to learn songs if needed. He is a nice guy, professional and can be counted on. He was good to our guests and very accommodating. He even provided his own lighting when the venue switches were difficult to locate, at no request for further compensation and with a smile. He is excellent.

It was our first experience with Chris James from Gig Salad for our company party. He is an amazing artist and entertainer, his selection of music was spot on, he was very profesional, all of our guests commented he was the highlight of the party. We definetely will use his talents again.

Chris James was a great addition to our party over the weekend. We are easy going people who don't need a whole lot of hand holding and Chris got that vibe. We didn't need a hard play list, as we felt Chris would get what we wanted and he did, basically he asked what artists we listen to and he did the rest. We had a place ready for him when he arrived with his set up. We had people of all ages at our party and his feel for the group was spot on. Chris was fantastic and we cannot wait for the next celebration to have him play for us.

I hired Chris to play solo at my wedding reception which took place at The Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. This was certainly the best decision of the reception. He is very professional, played for 3-hrs straight with breaks only for speeches and other announcements, and wowed my guests. He was early to the reception (which is awesome), brought his own everything (i.e., mic, lighting, sound equip, etc.), and was in fitting attire. Plus, he is truly a talented artist which came through his playing/singing. He was able to play music to fit the audience (mixed crowd ages) and I received comments from guests all night on how great he was. He is the "go-to" guy for any event in Vegas where I need music from now on. I'd book him again and I recommend him for all occasions.

We hired Chris to play my 45th birthday party at my house for about 30 people. Almost everyone came up to me at some point or another and asked where on earth did you find this guy, he is awesome! He showed up well in advance of the timeslot and performed steady throughout the night. He's super laid-back and easy to work with, highly recommend him!

The short version is I would highly recommend hiring Chris. We held a hospitality suite at a corporate event and he was the perfect compliment to the evening. He has a massive repertoire and performs each song with excellence. His own style comes out which is great as he makes the songs he covers his own. Just the right mix of professionalism, fun and cool overall vibe.

Chris James performed last night for the Sorrento Valley Beer Festival and it was a huge success in large part because of the great music! Everyone raved about his music and even asked me for his contact info. Comments I overheard were that they liked his voice, his medleys, and his choice of songs.

We had Chris come and play for our guests at a surprise birthday party. He was AWESOME! Everyone loved him... And there were people ranging in age from 23 to 65! He is a very talented musician! He is also very professional. We look forward to having him play at our home again !

Chris was amazing. His talent and personality made my daughters' Bat Mitzvah a truly memorable celebration. There wasn't a guest at our event who didn't rave about how great Chris is. Before the event Chis was great at communicating with us and learning what type of music we wanted. At the event things could not have gone any better. I had Chris provide the entertainment for my 50th Birthday party recently. He was on time and new exactly how to manage the venue. Most importantly he is an outstanding musician and extremely talented. His music list was right on and everyone danced and had a Great Time! He is also accommodating and flexible with his time and song requests. I received comments from my friends saying how good he was and how much of a blast the party was. Chris provided the best soundtrack to my milestone Birthday and I would strongly recommend him to anyone having a special event.

Chris James is a very talented musician who has obviously refined his art. His style is upbeat, with an incredible voice, and chooses excellent songs to sing. If we turned up the volume, we could have easily been at a professional rock concert, keeping the volume a little lower creates the perfect balance of mood, music and ambiance: enough to keep everyone completely delighted. I would absolutely recommend Chris for any event or occasion that needs world class music talent. My wife and I started brainstorming any occasions where we could hire him again after only hearing Chris for a few minutes.

Chris was absolutely awesome. He arrived early to set up, he started right on time, and he played and sang amazingly. He only took breaks to take a drink of water. Our guests (20 in all) knew every song he played. Having Chris at our early Thanksgiving celebration was one of our best party decisions ever!!

Chris was awesome he helped me planned out my wedding engagement proposal. He is real professional and passionate about his music. He played 3 songs and had no problem learning them. Highly recommend him to my family and friends. Well worth the investment. He even helped me with the video recording for my event.

Chris was fantastic at the wedding we hosted at Cordiano Winery. He performed for the ceremony and reception and even stayed a little later then what was previously discussed. Other than the bride and groom, he was the talk of the venue. We had numerous customers that were not part of the wedding celebration come and inquire about who this person was with such a great voice. We can't wait to have him up at the winery again. Chris James is an incredibly talented musician who deserves 10 stars. I found him on Gig Salad and hired him to serenade a surprise wedding proposal and he was amazing. He's a great guitarist with an excellent voice and is a true professional. He went above and beyond what we agreed to by surprising me with the singer of his band, Grand Sonic Theory, to preform a duet I had asked for. They made it sound even better than the original. It's so rare that major events in life meet your expectations, and this exceeded it thanks to Chris. Hire him and you won't be disappointed.
