When you hire me for your next event, you will get a soothing acoustic soundtrack with a repertoire that ranges from jazz to classical to musical theater to pop. I have performed both Pachelbel and Of Monsters & Men for wedding processionals. I have played an all jazz solo guitar repertoire for fundraisers and acoustic arrangements of pop hits during cocktail events.
Chris Lee-Rodriguez, is a musician and educator based in the New York Area. A summa cum laude graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music, Chris has spent the past five years working through different nonprofits teaching music to urban youth in Boston and New York. These organizations include ZUMIX in East Boston, Highbridge Voices in the Bronx, and Urban Arts Partnership in New York City. Chris has also toured the country and internationally performing in his Boston Music Award nominated band, People Like You. This past summer, they released their critically acclaimed album, "Verse" on Topshelf Records. He also has five years of experience performing his solo guitar repertoire in weddings, cocktail events, and fundraisers. Chris’s philosophy as a musician and an educator is that teaching music is the ultimate tool for social change and development, for its gives students the opportunity to transform into the greatest version of themselves.
I only need an outlet for my amplifier. If there is a PA system available, I can use that as well.
