Christina Cavazos is an Nashville and Austin based singer songwriter performing a unique blend of original and carefully selected indie-folk songs.
Can't recommend Christina enough. She was on time, professional and a very talented musician. Worked us before hand and rolled with changes well.
An authentic Austin talent, Christina played for a three hour networking event that was held during SXSW, and was perfect. She arrived and was set up well before the event started, and then sang and played acoustic guitar for the entire event. Christina is a precocious artist; during the event several in attendance asked who found her, commented on how great she was, and wondered if she had been signed by a label. Her talented performance also enhanced the networking event because it was refined and did not overpower the room, which allowed people at the event to talk and/or enjoy her performance. I would certainly recommend Christina for other gigs, including networking or corporate events, weddings, and parties. In retrospect, we were fortunate Christina was able to play at our networking event—she helped make it a great success.

Unique young singer-songwriter with original and covers of indie-folk and alternative coffeehouse-syle music.
Austin and Nashville-based singer-songwriter Christina Cavazos has been dedicated to making music for as long as she can remember. Her musical maturity is fully evident on her second EP, Cold. Showcasing her clear soprano and accomplished songwriting, producer Louie Lino (Nada Surf, Ume, Matt Pond PA) layers Cavazos’ vocals over lush sonic collages, creating an elegant dream-pop mix full of allure. Peter Blackstock of the Austin American Statesman writes "Christina Cavazos is not just a future name to watch, but a captivating singer-songwriter who has already arrived."
Cavazos was a student at the Austin School for Performing and Visual when she started writing songs at 14. She twice placed as a finalist in Old Settler’s Music Festival Youth Competition and earned a scholarship to Berklee College of Music’s summer program for high-school students. After high school, she was accepted in the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU’s renowned Tisch school of the arts. She graduated in 2022 and spent 2 years inNashville before returning to Austin, where she is currently recording a new collection of original songs. She was a finalist in the prestigious Kerrville Folk Festival’s Grassy Hill New Folk Competition in 2023. Cavazos’ wide-ranging influences include the Phoebe Bridgers, Aimee Mann, Ingrid Michelson, Bon Iver, Ben Gibbard (Death Cab for Cutie), the Civil Wars and Fleetwood Mac, but her sound is all her own.
