Christopher Ingram

Christopher Harrell Ingram was born, raised and educated in Memphis, TN. He has always had a
witty personality and a unique talent for relating to and winning over crowds. From singing in his
church choir to hosting and emceeing at school and college functions―being on stage was his
destiny. His background, deeply rooted in church, music and communications, prepared him for
life as an entertainer. After leaving behind an extensive athletic career, Christopher immersed
himself in working to coach and mentor young people in the community. In 2017, he was
honored and featured in the inaugural edition of The Interesting and Influential 100 magazine,
which highlights and recognizes fascinating local people who add value and bring substance to
the city of Memphis.

It wasn't until April of 2012 that the Gentleman JokesterTM graced the stage for the first time as a
stand-up comedian at his home church. From then on, his career swelled as he performed for
churches, nightclubs, community functions and even baby showers...yes, baby showers. As a
comedian, his relatability and humor that draws from everyday life experiences is a talent that has
afforded him opportunities to perform and open for many prominent comedians, like Vanessa

Fraction, Kool Bubba Ice, Funnyman Prescott, Shawty-Shawty, Reginald Ballard (a.k.a. Bruh-
Man from the 5th Flo') and Lav Luv. His brand of comedy has also won him accolades, such as

Memphis Gospel Awards Best Comedian 2014, one of three finalists in the Best in Black Awards
2017 for Best Humorous Posts on Social Media and Best Male Comic for the 2019 Memphis
Urban Laugh Comedy Festival.

Christopher is branching out and placing his stamp on stages worldwide. With a vision of
stewardship and faithfulness, Christopher is also helping other up-and-coming artists through his
brand, Love Live Laugh Entertainment. He has produced showcases at the Hard Rock Café and
the Rumba Room―both in downtown Memphis. Likewise, Christopher is consistently working on
other projects to not only promote fresh talent and develop his chops, but also shine a positive
spotlight on his hometown.
