What to Expect
I am a singing guitarist! I have a couple of guitar pedals that make my acoustic sound big and beautiful, and a worship pad pedal for those quieter moments. I tend to sing upbeat, joyful songs, but I know when to bring it down and allow people time for introspection. My influences are Phil Wickham, Cory Asbury, Chris Tomlin, Paul Baloche, David Crowder and the like!
About
I grew up in North Texas singing with my family from my pre-teen years (southern gospel, of course). I met my wife in 1995, we married in '96, and the adventure began! I served in several churches as youth pastor and/or worship leader, until we landed at Oak Street Baptist Church in Graham, TX, where I served for almost 17 years. During that time I led worship and children's, pre-teen, and youth camps (not southern gospel...). I became very involved in the Walk to Emmaus community and led worship for several walks. I've also served as a camp pastor and speaker at events over the years. I recently stepped out of vocational ministry and my schedule is much more flexible!! I'm excited to see where the Lord leads!!
Additional Booking Notes
All I need is a single input for guitar/pad and a microphone! I'm not too picky!! I can even go "unplugged", if that's your preference!
