The Chuck Nation Band (formerly Nation and Blackwell) performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City in 2015, and at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville in 2016. Chuck is a member of the Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame, a two-time Georgia State Fiddle Champion, Georgia State Mandolin Champion, and a Louisiana State Fiddle Champion. The band made their second international tour in 2014 to Ireland, and has performed over 450 shows since 2010. Whether it’s old favorites, modern songs, or original material, the Chuck Nation Band engages and entertains an audience from the first moment they take the stage.
Chuck Nation and his band are all such talented and kind people. I can't imagine hiring any other bluegrass players from now on.

The Chuck Nation Band is a band with the personality and vitality necessary to capture the attention and praise of even the most elite Bluegrass audience. With every performance, the band seizes the devotion of new fans and rises above the expectations of its old ones.
The Chuck Nation Band, from Gainesville, GA, near Atlanta, made their Carnegie Hall debut performance in New York City in 2015, where they received a standing ovation and encore. In 2016 they performed in concert at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN. They were 2016 Georgia Music Awards nominees for Americana/Bluegrass Artist Of The Year. Chuck is a member of the Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame, a two-time Georgia State Fiddle Champion, Georgia State Mandolin Champion and a Louisiana State Fiddle Champion. In addition to performing across the United States, the band has toured twice to Ireland, twice to China, Inner Mongolia, and in 2019 to Argentina. They have performed at the IFCM International Folk Song Festival, the International Silk Road Festival, countless theaters, festivals, churches, and varied events, and have been called “the South’s best Bluegrass band.”
Close harmony singing and superb instrumental playing are the hallmarks of their distinctive sound.
