What to Expect
Whether it’s a solo, duo, or a full band show, I bring energy to the stage. We interact with the crowd. My sets include a mix of originals and covers. We included old country, new country, classic rock, and Texas country.
About
Chuck Wimer is a United States Army veteran. After his time in the military, he settled in San Antonio, TX. Chuck is a Texas country recording artist.
Chuck brings a mix of country sounds from his own originals, to Charley Pride, Chris LeDoux, and Garth Brooks to modern country. He even throws in some old time Rock and Roll at the live shows.
Chuck has released two EPs and has had 6 songs go to Texas Radio. Each song has charted on the Texas Country Music Chart and Texas Internet Radio Chart. Five of the six have charted on the Texas Regional Radio Report. He won the Best Emerging Male award at the Texas Internet Radio Chart Awards show in October of 2022. He took third place for Song of the Year.
In the fall of 2021 Chuck formed his band, The Chuck Wimer Band. Randy can be found on bass, Scott on drums, and Thomas is on lead.
Chuck has shared the stage with artists such as Kin Faux, Scotty Alexander, JR Herrera, Kendi Jean, Jenni Dale Lord, Billie Jo Jones, and Jon Hope

Influences & Inspiration
Chris Ledoux is one of my biggest influences. I love the way he tells a story in his songs. I try to write my songs with a similar style. 80’s and 90’s country is a big influence on my style.
