As a recently retired CIA Operations Officer and Station Chief, I provide entertaining lectures on world events and the Intelligence World. I also have spoken on the challenges of field leadership and management in high-stress situations, and the need for continued education. My lectures have been well received and my incisive, humorous delivery energizes audiences and gives them a feel for what its REALLY like to work as a CIA Operations Officer. I enjoy inspiring youth to strive for their dreams - as, through hard work, I have been able to fulfill my own.

Scott Uehlinger, a graduate of the US Merchant Marine Academy, entered naval service upon graduation, serving at sea and later also sailing in the merchant marine for eight years. Entering the Central Intelligence Agency in 1996, he served abroad as an Operations officer in US embassies located in the former Soviet Union for more than twelve years. A Russian speaker, he has protracted experience working against the Russian HUMINT target, as well as successes against Iranian, Counterterrorism and Counterproliferation targets, amongst others. His most noteworthy and exciting tour was as Station Chief in Chisinau, Moldova (phone number hidden)2. Scott married in 2012 and returned to the USA with his new family. He recently retired from the Agency.
Since retirement in late 2014, Scott has begun a speaking tour at universities and veteran's groups in both the Lehigh Valley and in the NYC area on Current world events, to include Russia and its intelligence services - and his experiences with same. He has also been a contributing source to Newsweek and spoken on radio blogs dealing with Intel issues, and is in discussion with Fox News to be a future contributor.
Currently my lecture is very low tech - only requirement is a podium and a microphone. I prefer to move about the stage and engage my audience when I am speaking, rather than remain anchored to the podium!
