The balloonist and bubble maker showed up on time. They did have specific ideas on the sequencing of events, and stuck to it in spite of my feedback, so recommend touching base with them ahead of time to coordinate.

communication before the event, to coordinate the event was on point. Show was great, there was not much wind and Mezzanine still manage to warm up our guest hearts.

Please, whatever you do, do not book!! I paid for the balloonist prior to the event and they no showed. Still working on getting my money back but more so than anything it was such a disappointing and inconvenient experience. I followed up twice asking them to confirm date and time prior to the event. They "read" the message and never responded. Once the time of the event came around, I was scrambling around messaging Mezzanine and searching around the building. Wasting my time worrying about where they were instead of enjoying and tending to our event. So frustrating, please save yourself and do not book.

This group is talented, thoughtful and very organized. They knew their routines and their craft. The costumes were amazing. They were professional at every point of contact. We will definitely be using them again.

Kids and Parents loved the full two hour entertainment. While kids lines up for balloon twisting parents enjoyed their appetizers. The Magic show was hit with everyone. Great service and very professional!!! Will definitely rehire.

We had awesome experience with Circus Modern. She came before the time, got my daughter beautiful little gift, made kids beautiful balloons. Kids had such great time with her. Bubbles were so much fun. It was wonderful to see all the kids happy and laughing and having good time. She went above and beyond to ensure great time for everyone.

Mezzanine showed up on our event early and with a great attitude. She wore a Star Wars costume to surprise the kids and patiently engaged with every single one of them to make sure they got what they wanted. She twisted the balloons into Light Sabers for boys and cute animals for girls. The balloons she created kept the kids happy and busy throughput the party, all of them going for seconds and even thirds. This party was important for us because it was the fist one after such a long break due to Covid. These kids needed some fun and Mezzanine delivered. Thank you so much!

The kids loved the bubbles show. Mezzanine was amazing and wore a mask the whole time and stayed longer than agreed with no extra charge. Definitely recommend her :)

Very friendly, unfortunately didn’t bring all of the face paint so kids were limited to only a few colors and ran out of time and wasn’t able to do bubble show that I had paid extra for. Very nice though.

Mezzanine was a great communicator from the start. She offered suggestions, new creative ideas, and clearly was ready to bring it! We enjoyed every minute of this circus troupe (Mezzanine, Flavio and Francisco!) They made the party and I appreciate it soooo much. Professional, on top of everything, left zero for me to worry about except enjoying the F-U-N!

Showed up well before scheduled time and were ready to go at agreed start time. Super fast to respond. Kids and adults loved her and she was able to setup a face painter which was just as amazing. Would definitely book again!

We hired Mezzanine as a balloon twister. She was perfect. She made many balloons for each of the kids and all different (flowers, swords, butterflies, crowns, monkeys on the trees, etc) we had less kids than expected so she did play with them and kept them entertained. She was so nice, patient and friendly. We will for sure hire her again!

We loved having Mezzanine and her partner at our holiday party- the crowd was "wowed" and really enjoyed their performances!

It was my son's first party with a bubble show, and we were super excited. Nikki came on time and dressed really cool.The kids were happy to see some giant bubbles floating in the air. But I got so dissapointed when I didn't see more than that for an hour. I expected Nikki to really entertain the kids and maybe do a REAL bubble show. She told me that she couldn't do much because of the wind situation, but I was hoping she could have initiated some bubble games and other fun interactive bubble stuff for the kids considering that the event was outdoors. We paid close to $300 for the bubble show and I feel we didn't get our money's worth. I understand that we don't have control over the wind but she could have done something more to entertain the guests.

It was so nice working with this company! Very responsive, friendly and on time! They loved interacting with the audience and dancing to any type of music! Thank you for a wonderful event!

Mezzanine BCA were a hit at our company's Take Your Child to Work Day. We had balloon and bubble artist come and entertain the kids in the afternoon. They were fun and engaging with all the kids did a great job of putting smiles on their faces! They showed up on time, in costume and ready to play. Thank you for your time, it was exactly what we wanted.

Mezzanine Beecomb came with the right amount of energy that I was hoping for at my wedding anniversary party. The costumes and props and lights were great, and my guests danced a lot and were really excited by their surprise appearance at the party. I was, however, disappointed because we had agreed to an hour of entertainment in our conversations to each other on GigSalad. It was noted in the quote that she gave me and we discussed repeatedly that the dancers would come out from 8;30-9:30pm, but if some other events (such as Mother-son Dance) were still occurring for the party, then they might need to come out a little late (ex. 8:40pm), but still stay until 9:30pm. They came out about 8:45pm, when they could have come out earlier than this because everyone was already on the dance floor, and left at 9:16pm. I was so wrapped up in the party and the million people talking to me that I didn't even have time to realize how short their appearance was. The DJ later confirmed that the time on the dance floor was indeed this short. All my guests also noticed that the dancers were out for a very short amount of time and would have loved to have them out for longer, as it added a really fun dynamic.
As Easter Sunday was the next day, and I had 25 family members at my house for the next 3 days, I did not immediately have time to call and complain. When I did call Gig Salad they said that I would have had to complain within 48 hours of the event. They also were unable to do anything about the amount of time I had paid for because Mezzanine Beecomb had "sneakily" put in the agreement 8;30-9:15pm as the entertainment times. I had completely missed this when I went to pay because I was going off the quote and our conversations. I definitely learned a lesson there... But due to this, they technically did not violate their contract.
Before calling GigSalad I had even tried to write to Mezzanine, expressing my frustration with the timing and how I feel they should give me a partial refund. She never responded to me and still has not. I did not want to leave a bad review as I was hoping that she would resolve this with me privately, but I have been unable to get ahold of her. Therefore, please learn from my mistakes. I thought I was protected in using this website, but due to my own blind faith I was still screwed over and paid over $600 for 30 minutes of entertainment. :( I feel very taken advantage of, but that's life.

Mezzanine Beecomb Circus Arts was simply amazing!!! Mezzanine was on top of everything and was super responsive! To top it off, their performances at our event were top notch! We had two stilt walkers who welcomed our guests to the party, a contortionist, a hoop dancer and a contact ball performer!

I would hire Mezzanine Bececome Circus Arts again and again and again.

We had a non profit event called The Gold Party. We uses a stilt walker dressed in gold and a gold human statue. They were awesome and created so much fun for our guests. We will definitely use them again!

Mezzanine was on time, prepared and great with the kids. She had no problems dealing with the chaos of a bunch of Littles overly excited to get their balloon animals (a balloon squid is a very cool thing) I would definitely hire her again. Maybe next time we’ll try Giant Bubbles or Face Painting!
P.s. This review tool made me choose a service before submitting. Because “balloon artist” wasn’t a choice, I arbitrarily chose “stilt walker” so I can submit. To be clear, Mezzanine provided balloon artist services for our child’s 4th birthday.

Lauren showed up in "costume" and went right to work. She showed up a little late but was in regular communication with me to let me know her status. Her work was superb. The kids loved her and she was very creative with the many styles of masks that she painted. No two of the 40 or more kids were the same.

We found Jeremiah through Mezzanine Beecomb Circus Arts. He was fantastic! Very personable, put on an excellent show for the children (and attending adults). He came early and showed some tricks to the group starting half an hour before the show started and stayed late to talk to all of the kids that had questions for him. I would highly recommend him as a performer (and he could not have been nicer!)

Mezzanine did a great job connecting us to our balloon twister. Christian was awesome! The kids loved him -- he kept them entertained until the very last minute and was silly and so fun. He was very accommodating to the children's request and made some pretty cool things that were new to even him :) Communication was on point from initial request to the day of the party. Very happy customer here!

We are an orthodox Jewish community and were looking for an inter-generational entertainment program. Mezzanine found for us the right mix of performers who did a great job entertaining children, parents, grandparents and great grandparents.

Everyone had a blast dancing with Mezzanine and she helped make my daughter's party great!

Mezzanine (stilts/fire), Paul (fire) and Alex (magician/juggler) put on a captivating and entertaining show at my son's 18th birthday party. The age range of the guests was 5 years old to 87 years old and everyone loved and raved about the performers! Mezzanine was a joy to work with and kept me informed throughout the hiring and planning phase. She worked diligently and patiently with my ever changing requests. Ultimately, she provided great service, entertainment and peace of mind to the event! Her team was able to keep a flock of teenagers enthralled and entertained for 3 hours! Need I say more....?!

Arrived on time and overcome some restrictions set by building. Did a very creative job creating the Mojiganga wedding puppet. Everyone enjoyed taking pictures with her. Fun evening.

Mezzanine Beecomb's appearances in Santa Cruz Arts & Technology Festival surprised and captivated the attendees to our event this year at the prestigious Museum of Art & History. A real pro, Mezzanine was a delight to behold and to work with, and we hope to have her involved in future productions which we are planning soon.

Mezza9 performed as a stilt-walker at the 10 year anniversary and MFA art show for my department at UCSC. The event drew people from all over the country and Mezza9's presence really helped transform this into a magical and artful environment. She was very professional and fun to work with. Her costuming was custom made and modified for the show; it looked fabulous and appropriate for the event. She moved like one of the artworks through the event and everyone lit up when she came near.

I've always been impressed with Mezza9's presence and talent. She brings an amazing energy that uplifts the mood of any event she goes to, and it is reflected in everything she does, from painting to stilt walking.
