Marissa Shaffer is an 18 year old circus artist current based in Providence, Rhode Island. With a history in Rhythmic Gymnastics and musical theatre, she now has trained in circus arts for three years, in aerials, acrobatics, contortion, and juggling. She has trained with the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts, as well as Circus Smirkus, and currently trains and performs with Brown University’s Aerial Acrobatics organization. She loves performing and bringing the joy of cirque to as many people as possible.
