CJ Live is a music duo (or trio), electric or acoustic, using any combination of guitar, vocals, keys, drumbeats (live drums in the trio), and bass. We cover almost any genre; jazz, pop, rock, pop punk, standards, r&b, soul, and more! From 1920s to todays hits. We make sure there’s something for everyone in our sets, and with our musical knowledge you can be sure we will tailor make a set list you’ll love!

Some friends and I saw CJ Live recently at the Oakley Tavern in Nutley and we enjoyed every bit of it! They played a fun upbeat set that made for a fun night out for dinner and drinks. An incredibly talented musical duo that I’d highly recommend!

They are both so talented and they complement each other in their performance - Jeff with his guitar and harmonies; Crystal with her voice and keyboard. Also loved the variety in their playlist.

This duo artfully covers a vast and varied array of tunes from 70s classic rock to contemporary pop chart toppers. Their appeal is universal and their musicianship exceptional. They're the perfect accompaniment to a great time at any venue.

I had so much fun watching Crystal & Jeff play at a bar. Their set was eclectic and engaging for a crowd with a huge age range. Little kids were dancing, old folks were singing along!

What a fun evening seeing CJ Live at The Oakley in Nutley, NJ. No matter what your favorite kind of music is, they'll get to it somewhere during the evening. From The Beatles to The Cranberries to Lizzo--they did it all. Very skillful musicians. They go from pleasant background music to providing tunes that make you want to get up and dance. Great entertainment.

Fun evening with two very talented singers/musicians. They played and sang a variety of songs that were clearly well-rehearsed. We’d absolutely love it if they played at the Oakley again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - I would highly recommend! These two are an absolutely wonderful duo and are guaranteed to provide a fantastic musical selection for any event. In terms of the music they can supply - they offer a beautiful complimentary vocal range, along with tasteful keyboard/piano melodies and skillful string accompaniments. They also have a plethora of popular songs to pick from on their song list, which will allow you to have a really good mix of diversity for any set list for basically any type of event. If you are looking for awesome live music, you should book them today - you won’t be disappointed.

This charming (married) couple was a fantastic addition to a gathering I had recently. Only their musicianship topped the delightful vibe they added to the party. Jeff's guitar skills complemented Crystal's sweet voice, and the overall effect created a wonderful background for my guests. They were very professional and were willing to learn a couple of special song requests I had. I am recommending them to friends looking for lovely background music for similar gatherings

What to Expect
CJ Live can offer anything you’re looking for; from the classic rock songs so many love, relaxed cocktail hour type music to just vibe to, and even dance music to get you on your feet and grooving. If they don’t already do a song, they’re more than happy to learn anything to make their clients happiest.
They offer acoustic and electric options, from just an acoustic guitar and vocals, to electric guitar, keyboard, drumbeats, vocals, and bass. They even have option to add more musicians if you’re looking for a bigger sound.
About
Crystal and Jeff (who make up CJ Live) are a married couple whose lives revolve around music. They’ve both spent many years in bands, gigging all over, and playing every kind of music there is. They’ve started CJ Live to combine their love of music and each other, to brighten up peoples events with what they love most.
They’ve played BBQ’s and backyard events, engagement parties, wedding ceremonies, small wedding receptions, bars and restaurants, and they’d love to bring their talent and magic to you next!
